WTB: BLF A6

Looking for a few A6’s to give to a few family members as gifts. Anyone have one or two laying around that they don’t need? I will grab a few off BG if I don’t get any hits here. Just trying to get them a bit faster than waiting on the row boat from China. I can pay with PayPal or send a MO or whatever.

Shoot me a PM or respond here and I will get back to you as quick as I can.

FWIW, Bangood has 1A and 5A tints in stock in their US warehouse for $21.95, less than their current price for one shipped from China.

Ahhh……Thank you sir. That may be just what I need. Thanks a bunch.

Or, if you prefer 3D tint, you can get an Astrolux S1 for $23.95 from the US warehouse.

Well…….now i’m not sure what to do. I prefer the 3D but these aren’t for me. I was giving one to my stepdad and one to the neighbor kid up the road. He runs down here everytime he sees a UPS truck, knowing I have a new light. He loves to read the instructions and UI tricks to me while I am finding a new cell and getting it ready to come on. He is a great kid. Says he’s going to buy a lathe and start making his own. “When my dad will allow me around sharp things”, he tells me.

I think my step dad might prefer the 3D but, I’m pretty sure the neighbor kid would want it pretty white. He seems to lean towards my more brighter white lights. Maybe one of each if I don’t get any hits here.

I think I have spare A6’s with short tubes. Let me check tonight when I get back from work so that I can be exact about what I have available for you.

Thank you very much. I should be around this evening. Thanks again.

Your’re very welcome! I have two spare BLF A6’s and two spare short 18350 tubes. The emitters are one 5A tint and one 3D tint.

I tested them tonight to be sure they are working in both 18650 and 18350 assembly without any need for a metal spacer to complete the circuit. Some of the short tubes especially had tolerances slightly off. They are both configured in 7 modes with memory on.

If you want them, you may have them for no cost. My own little giveaway … I don’t post a lot so any actual giveaway would take me some years to match common practice on BLF!!

PM me with your shipping info and I’ll get them into the mail as soon as I can.

Wow, now that’s the spirit. cheers to you :+1:

toddcshoe,

Package sent …. PM’ed postal info.

This thread is what I love about BLF.

Hip Hip Horray for Hell2pay!!! 10 internets goes to you!

Well I’ll tell you what. Hell2Pay sent those lights to me and wouldn’t let me pay a dime for them. For that I am truly grateful. My plan was to get a few, one for the neighbor kid up the road and another for my always grouchy stepdad.

The neighbor kid up the road had a full blown fit. I thought he was going to bust at the seams. Really made his day. He was running around and telling anyone who would listen about his new flashlight. I can always tell when he is headed over to the house now, the light gets brighter and brighter before he finally arrives on the porch. I honestly don’t think he has turned it off since he got it. His dad jokingly cusses me everyday because apparently he has started taking a shower and going to the bathroom and not turning on any lights, he just tail stands the light on the bathroom counter. That and he has to keep charging the batteries for him. Sent him home with a couple 30Q’s, a charger, and the link to the IMR battery site.

Now my real surprise is when I gave the other one to my stepdad. He lives on about 15 acres like I do and is always using cheap walmart flashlights to find his way around. Thought he could really use one and he kind of gives mine more than a once over whenever I am carrying a new light he hasn’t seen. Now this man doesn’t say to much or show much excitement about anything. Most of the time you can’t tell if he likes you or wants to kill you. Just one of those old grumpy type guys. I went to visit and told him I had this extra light laying around and that if he wanted it he was more than welcome to it. I had to act like he was doing me a favor. If he had known I got it just for him he wouldn’t of taken it. Showed him how it worked, how to charge the battery and got it set up the way he wanted it. All he said was “alright, thanks”. My mom calls me the following evening to tell me my stepdad has been out in the back yard and woods behind their house for the last two nights with this flashlight and won’t stop talking about how bright it is and that he has never seen a flashlight this bright. He is also convinced that I built that thing myself and made it in a way that when he used it too much it would burn him. For some reason he really thinks I don’t like him. I’ve known the man 30 years, if I didn’t like him I would have told him by now. But anyway, to get any kind of reaction out of the man is an amazing feat in itself.

So needless to say, those two lights went to two very good homes. Hell2Pay had a lot to do with that. For that act of kindness I am forever in his debt. Thank you.

This is just awesome.

Very nice acts on both parts. I salute you!

Nice!

The BLF spirit is alive and kicking~

Love this thread, well done to both of you.

Made me smile (I’m a grumpy oldish man)
