What would be the purpose of a third carrier? I can’t even use up the batteries in two carriers in one night. Adding an additional pound+ of weight doesn’t sound appealing to me. The thing already weighs over 5lbs
You’d be incorrect. There is no kill like extreme overkill.
I mean, come on! Did you not dream a long time ago of having one of those 6D police Maglites? The only purpose of that many D cells was to use as a police baton.
Seems Neal is not selling the battery carriers by themselves yet. Hopefully by the time I get my BLF GT and can get something made to fit, the carriers will be available. Not giving up hope yet! Maybe Neal will even decide to offer a coupler. I don’t care where it comes from I just want a mega extreme overkill flashlight lol
Additional long tubes (2-carrier) would be nice, as well, if the carriers and couplers become available. I wonder who would build the longest flashlight? :sunglasses:
Well shoot. I found another carrier/holder only on banggood - Astrolux, but I’m pretty sure it’s also 2S2P. The description says it’s 8.4V and can use either 2 or 4 batteries, so no go. I guess the GT is special
Edit: adding link - just notice that it says “under restocking” and “coming soon” though
The Astrolux carrier can be bypassed to be 4s. Lexel also offers new PCBs for the carrier to make it 4S. If the carrier fits and makes contact correctly it might work.
