Tnx for the tip, that will save me a lot of frustatrion. :+1:
I guess its shaving and polishing then.
My skills are not up to it but luckily I now someone from the German forum that is an expert and is willing to help me out :+1: :+1: :+1:
And I promise I won’t go any further with this off-topic issue……
They are using the same exaggerated specs as the MT35/MF02 (2,700 lumen) so you know the candela (1.46mcd) is exaggerated as well.
It looks like it’s using the same 2S2P carrier as the earlier lights which means it’s probably is using a boost driver. Maybe the same as the smaller light? I would think so.
Well……the reflector is slightly bigger, 124.1mm versus 118 as in the BLF GT.
The bigger the reflector, the more impact those few extra millimeters have on the throw capacity.
If the XHP35 HI (latest binning) is driven hard it would do around 150cd/mm2.
With a 124mm reflector the light could reach above 1.4Mcd.
And scroll down (pic nbr 3) you’ll see a schematic of the reflector indicting it is 124,1 mm on the inside.
It would also mean that it is a different reflector then the one in the BLF GT, and it looks like it when you look at the other picture (pc nbr 4) of the reflector.
Again: I’m assuming this from the pics and info available, it’s all still quite unclear.
I can’t read the Chinese writing in that ad, but I think it’s safe to say it will probably have the same color temperature options as the MF02 and MT35 since they already have them in stock.
Maybe someone who can read Chinese can tell us what the ad says.
I could not get that link to work. It seems to go to an “item not found” page. I’m not certain since I cant read the language but that is what it appeared to be.
If the link showing the Mateminco MT35+ is accurate, we’ll be looking at 788 Chinese Yuan which translates roughly to $125 USD. I’m totally in for that, hopefully the GB offers something similar to the MF02 price.
