I’m interested, but I was also searching for battery holders since they apparently won’t be available, and I ran across this

Well shoot. I found another carrier/holder only on banggood - Astrolux, but I’m pretty sure it’s also 2S2P. The description says it’s 8.4V and can use either 2 or 4 batteries, so no go. I guess the GT is special

The Astrolux carrier can be bypassed to be 4s. Lexel also offers new PCBs for the carrier to make it 4S. If the carrier fits and makes contact correctly it might work.

I’ll update the original post with a list of interested parties. I’ll have my machinist source are quote me 25/50/100 PC’s to get an idea of pricing. I’d assume you’d all like the coupler to be anodized black to match the rest of it?

This project is on idle for now, until I get my GT and short tube. We still need to figure out how to get a third battery carrier as well.
I did work on the design a little bit today. I think knurling is going to be out of the question but I’ll see what we can come up with.
I talked to Neal he said he would get back with me on selling the carrier for the batteries will let u know what he tells me
