Cheap small tough, work knife

I was working under the sink the other day, replacing drain line and needed to chamfer and trim the old sch 40 drain pipe. All the knives I had handy were a bit too light, too sharp, not tough enough for me to feel comfortable cutting around on the drain pipe. Maybe not a folder, since I want no wiggle, and both small and cheap are good, like $10 or so.

PM me your address. I got the perfect knife for you I think. I don’t use it and it’s brand new in the box. Not even going to show you a picture, just going to send it to you.

Did I ever mention that I was in need of a cheap, small, tough luxury yacht as well as a cheap, small, tough stash of gold bullion and, oh yeah, a cheap, small, tough tropical island?

Just sayin’…

Very generous toddcshoe!

Thanks Toddcshoe, PM sent. BTW buying a yacht is the cheap part, owning one the expensive part. (I have friends who live full time on a boat).

Mora makes great Scandi work knives at around $20

I second a Mora. We hardly bother with import knives here, except maybe cheap Chinese copies… Mora Robust or their “Electrician’s knife” maybe?

They have a whole lineup of construction knives and even chisels - but if those are too large for OP, there’s always their stubby Eldris

Todd, I got your knife and it looks pretty nice, Thanks. Its going straight to my tool bag to be put to work.

Awesome. Hope it will work for you. Knives are like a good pair of jeans, hard to find perfect ones. Hope it helps. Pass it on if it doesn’t work for ya.

Ok. We do need a picture now…
