Correct. I managed to make one work so now I would only need to return one. But niwalker offered to send a free replacement and I don’t need to return the faulty one anymore.
Just a question for those who have a bk-fa30s, does yours step down from turbo once it starts getting hot?
Some good news for Niwalker fans to look forward for this week.
EVENT-01:
NIWALKER GAW !!! 3 lights (VOSTRO, MM18JR, and C11) will be given away in BLF!
I will create a separate thread for it. Please don't get too excited yet! Just for the heads up, group buy participants will have double the chance of wining the GAW.
EVENT-02:
Niwalker would like to participate in their development process for two of their upcoming new lights. Participants will be able to purchase their new lights near cost price during launch.
They will email you after your tracking code is ready.

Finally got my Niwalker thrower. Build quality is nice but switches are not very responsive or should say mode changing is very unstable or accidental. I encounter one time it totally can’t be switched on no matter long press, short click and wait, etc. I took out the battery carrier and measured 16.3v, put it back, still couldn’t be switched on. And I was like “F! Dead in 5 minutes?” I disconnected the battery tube again and twisted it as tight as before, it switched on. Now I programmed switch B to turbo and avoid using main switch.
Good news is to my eyes I think it easily hit over 550kcd. I didn’t bother to measure it.
Beside throw, I am impressed by its light weight, very usable weight. It heats up fast in Turbo within a few minutes, nice.
I have already feedback to them last week. I suspect it is the silicon underneath the switch plus timing issue for programming. They said they will improve the design for the next batch.
