Thank you charied lin. I Check my Paypal donā€™t had shipping status.

Interested in mm18jr. Please send me the code. Thanks!

Finally got my Niwalker thrower. Build quality is nice but switches are not very responsive or should say mode changing is very unstable or accidental. I encounter one time it totally canā€™t be switched on no matter long press, short click and wait, etc. I took out the battery carrier and measured 16.3v, put it back, still couldnā€™t be switched on. And I was like ā€œF! Dead in 5 minutes?ā€ I disconnected the battery tube again and twisted it as tight as before, it switched on. Now I programmed switch B to turbo and avoid using main switch.

Good news is to my eyes I think it easily hit over 550kcd. I didnā€™t bother to measure it.

Beside throw, I am impressed by its light weight, very usable weight. It heats up fast in Turbo within a few minutes, nice.

What light is the one right to the BLF GT? I thought the BLF GT was the biggest one

Olight SR95S UT modded with SST-40.

Interested may be for all three, depending on price.

I have already feedback to them last week. I suspect it is the silicon underneath the switch plus timing issue for programming. They said they will improve the design for the next batch.

Ya, I too suspect it is contact and timing problem that cause the FW to behave oddly.
It seems to be slow to switch on the green LED on the main switch too.

Besides this, I like this flashlight a lot. Thank you for this GB.

Is this group buy still open Mr Freeme??

I bought two Vostros and been thinking about those other lights and maybe one each of the other two if possible.
Besides the already mentioned switch problems I really do like the Vostros but I do believe Iā€™d have preferred the old style with what I was told had a magnetic ring like the ThruNites I have, those switches are rather pointless, they look fancy, but really sort of a waste and really donā€™t work well so Iā€™ll be changing them all out.
The best thing I just loved about this GB was the shipping speed, I didnā€™t get much of a notice from Niwalker but I was notified that my lights had shipped and then they were here in just 3 days.
Iā€™ve only seen that once before when I placed a massive order with Maxtoch for our new search and rescue team lights that I ordered and Mactoch shipped them by DHL and it was the same thing, 3 days and suddenly they appeared, I was just as stunned then as I was this time,
I canā€™t imagine how they can do that but they do and can and all for just $25, what a great deal,
Iā€™m a very happy and grateful member of this group buy thatā€™s for sure and so thanks again Mr Freeme, you do such a great job on your GBā€™s.
Garyā€¦.

Deal is still available. Subscribe this thread if you wish to receive more updated group buy news in future.

There have been some concern regarding the buttons. Manufacturer said they might consider to replace them with control ring. You guys do leave a comment for your preference. Niwalker is gathering our BLF Niwalker owners (soon to be owners ) to improve on their up-coming lights. VOSTRO design has been well-received by the public, so they are going to put more effort to improve and expand this series.

We might have a few minor hiccups but I was glad that majority of the buyers received their lights within a reasonable time frame. If there is anything you would like us to improve on, please do not hesitate to feedback to us.

In my view, donā€™t use control ring.
Just improve the existing UI responsiveness and accuracy are enough.

I to donā€™t think the magnetic control ring is the answer and if they did go to the control ring then they are going back to their own 2013 interface, they just need to improve their driver and maybe if anything loose two of those buttons, and try the ramping UIā€™s perhaps.
I think the magnetic ring was a Thrunite idea, Iā€™ve got a number of them and they are alright thatā€™s a fact but there is a better way to go now.
NIWALKER Vostro BK-FA01 & BK-FA02
This review is from 2013, and I donā€™t think the XHP35ā€™s had come out yet, plus the ramping UIā€™s are completely new so that would really put Niwalker up in the A+ class IMHO.
Thank you for the reply Freeme, I might get another light before the end of the weekend, I just spent a few hundred last night and now shipping them to T/A for modding.
Geez, when will it stop, I know, when I die,
But I can assure you that in my final will there is a line that says which lights are going in that box with me, there is absolutely no way that Iā€™ve spent this much money on lights and then not have a light when I need it the mostā€¦ certainly wouldnā€™t want anyone sneaking up on meā€¦. Ha.

No control ring please ā€¦. That thing is a nightmare for modders.

Go with ramping like TA narsil.

I am interested in the MM18JR 70.2 depending on price

In my opinion ramping is overrated. Its use is limited and is meant for adjusting output only. Most of the time users are using flashlight, not adjusting itā€™s output with such a fine steps.

Control ring is realy good as long as you have an on-off button switch as well.
Ramping is a gimmickā€¦ā€¦only for showing off :stuck_out_tongue: ā€¦ā€¦which I am guilty of
I have only 2 suggestionsā€¦.

  1. make the mode switch flush with body so it does not get in the way and on-off switch to protrude (so it is easy to feel for in the dark).
  2. Have the rear button as a dedicated (or programmable) turbo switch.

ā€¦ā€¦ā€¦just my 2 cents worth :innocent:

edit to add, I am loving my new Vostro. It is a huge improvement over my old ones in every way!!!

ā€¦ā€¦oh, and 3. make it more powerful :smiling_imp:
