I just got my latest order of LEDâs in the other day, that should give me all the LEDâs I need to finish off all the current orders as of early this week.
I am out of drivers though, the last one I have is being sent to HL for testing next week. I have the components to make more drivers and just waiting for more pcbâs. They should be in Wednesday. About the same time the lights from Terry show up (which is why I told him to wait). I will start up work on these mods again late next week. It will take me a day or 2 to build the drivers.
I needed a few days off anyways, got a lot of other things to take care of in real life during this âdowntimeâ.
Fortunately, I donât need a driver - yours is already installed
Just the LED swap, as I installed your driver and did the spring bypass a week ago when your driver came in.
But I understand the need for rest though.
I wonder what the lumens are with everything but the new emitters? I may have to buy one of your lumen tubesâŚ
Have a blessed day!
Ah, I forgot which one that was that was coming with the driver already. In that case I can most likely knock yours out this weekend. Maybe tonight actually since the spring bypass is done, I am so sick of bypassing those springs lol.
Oh and I forgot the lights I was supposed to drop off today at home when I left this morning, so they will go out tomorrow instead. Sorry about that.
No kidding on the tedious spring bypass!
I did all five, sloppily, but with your new driver the main spring initially got hot almost immediately. After bypassing with 18 gauge wire, it doesnât even get warm all the way to light step down. Definitely a necessary step.
Hmm, not sure if I have one on hand right now but I should have one for myself by the time I take the XHP70.2 GT out for some beamshots, I will try to remember to take it along for comparison, also the mt09R.
I forgot i am getting my mt07s 10k lumen light today. It is going to be a great night because the most i ever lift from the single xhp70.2 is 6700 lumen. 3000 lumen step up from the single emitterâŚ
In the âhot testâ yes a bit over 9k but from a cold start they can peak over 10k for a few seconds and then it drops as the light heats up until it stabilizes in the low to mid 9k range.
Ok, it looks like I got packages from BimmerNut318, Saypat and 808HI today.
I will open them up and see if any of them donât need xhp70 drivers later, I am pretty sure Saypat does not. Any that donât I will try to get finished on Monday.
The rest will have to wait until I get the next driver PCBâs, and build the drivers. It should be end of next week when I can start working on the rest of those lights.
Just letting everyone know that I still have about 14 of the MT09R 70.2 NW in the green and blue colors left.
The price on them is very low, also I can ship them straight to TA for you to have the new driver installed as well as emitter upgrades for any that may want emitter upgrades. They are all NW tint and even with stock emitters once the new TA driver goes in it becomes a 20k plus lumen light.
Any that do not sell by the time I get them back to my warehouse in S.C. which is still about 9 more days. I will be purchasing the drivers from TA myself and installing them. After that the price will go back to the regular retail price.
The price I have them at right now even if you have TA install the new driver for you, you will still be saving about $35.00 each for them Also all of TA's work is warranted by the factory. (only standard parts and labor. If you purchase $40.00 LED's and the develop some sort of problem I can only replace them with stock emitters, the drivers will be the same.
The best time to get them is not while I can ship much larger orders to TA instead of one here and there costing a lot extra in shipping.
Thanks guys. Just trying to keep everyone updated.
Buy the way TA Iâll be sending you that MT09R that is having driver problems, or has a dead driver or possibly the switch, who knows on Monday or Tues. and by the time it gets there my other light the Blue XHP70.2âs should be about arriving at the same time, just guessing because it should have been shipped last Tues or Wed and I could never get a straight answer.
This light needing repaired was not one of your installs so I just need to find out whatâs messed up and get it fixed and attach the bill to the other light build, ThanksâŚ
