Group Buy: Wuben TO10R and TO46R (real 90+CRI triple XP-G3) - CLOSED!!

I’d be fine with that also, looking forward to getting my hands on this light, whatever ends up in it hehe.

Interested in TO46R depends on price

It’s very complicated… If we would have a GB of 1000 lights it would be possible to select exactly the emitter we want. With only 100 lights it’s harder to negotiate…

Anyways, we are very near to a solution, which is pretty good in my opinion. I hope I’ll get the confirmation and can tell the news on Monday.

Please be prepared for 4000K though.

Not possible. Sorry!

I have to disagree: There’s no such thing as too many Nichia 219c lights!

I wasnt aware of any issues until now. (Im Pentosin on reddit).
I already have a nichia 219B light (Emisar D4) so im abit bummed out that the cree aint happening, but i guess i can live with a change as long as its 90+ cri. I also MUCH prefer 5000k over 4000k.
For the extra emitters, i NEED 5000k+(and 90+cri) because im going to use them for aquarium purposes, and anything below 5000k is just too yellow.

I’d like to cancel please, but I’ve already paid. How do I get a refund?

I can wait for confirmation, but 4k is a no go for me. This all should have been sorted out before payments started.

Not the expected news…but let’s wait and see how the final scenario is :+1:

I know. My fault.
Please accept my sincere apologies. I trusted Wuben when they said they are ready to take payments. They trusted their supplier who promised to deliver. Things went south. Everyone suffers. Members are not happy, Wuben is not happy, I’m not happy for sure.

Both me and Wuben have already apologized for the unfortunate situation. Refunds are being issued for whoever wants to bail out. Not much more we can do instantly.

On the bright side, lots of action has been happening during the last week to make things good again - despite the (sudden) global lack of 90+CRI emitters. 4 am wake-ups to discuss with Wuben and their suppliers have been fruitful and I hope we can reach a solution that most members will be happy with. Even if it would be 4000K.

PM sent. Please reply.

In general: PM me for refund.

I do not feel like it is your fault at all. This one is on Wuben for not having its supply chain in order. Not a big deal either way, not like any of us are short on flashlights.

I agree with cellguy plus I don’t mind waiting.

I had to bail out as something told me 5000k wasn’t going to happen. That’s when I gave up and bought this SC600Fd Mk IV Plus 18650 XHP50 Floody 5000K High CRI Flashli

Sure it’s more money but it has the 5000k 93-95 high cri led I’m looking for. It rocks!

@ The :This is neither your fault nor Wubens.
Therefore I will not bail out but wait for a solution.

4000K Is good for me, depending on Led brand and characteristics.
Nichia 4000K would be great.

I appreciate the effort going into a GB like this, so I’ll hang on.

Cheers,
Nico

I’m patient too…

Yeah, im not in a hurry either.
Also, i dont think anyone reasonable is blaming you the.

It’s Monday but I don’t have any news to tell. We have to wait at least until tomorrow.

Sorry for the delay. Please try to be patient.

Any news?

Still waiting for confirmation… :frowning: …but I’ll take a risk and tell you something:

We are now back to following the original plan and working hard to purchase good CREE 5000K 90+CRI emitters, just like the ones maukka tested, but from EasyWhite tint bin 3E (tightest 5000K tint bin provided by CREE => better tint than previous samples).

Again: No promises! Will probably succeed, but don’t get angry if something unexpected still happens. :person_facepalming:
