What material do you expect for AA/14500 flashlight

Bumping for 2018 news on this :sunglasses:

It will have 2 LEDs - one Cool White and one Warm White, working independently. And it is supposed to be a tail switch. Stay tuned for more details.

I prefer Plastic body.

Hum…that means that the images posted before will not be “this” flashlight? The photos show a side switch…

It is “this” flashlight, only the switch was changed to tail switch (most customers like tail switch according to our research on social medias).

Well I did really like this light but a tail switch on that small of a light kills it for me. A tail clicks on a light that small makes it really clumsy for a guy with big hands. A pinch between two fingers is much easier.

Oh, ok!! I thought it was other flashlight!

Hum, I’ll be honest and I’ll agree with Turningbluechips: the side switch on this light would be outstanding, not only because of the size, but also because of the look itself!

This has everything to be a “premium” light, and the side switch would be a major plus (in my opinion) marking a position towards other brands and models. Also, it would probably allow a much better user interface. This is only my opinion, of course!
Let’s see where this will lead! :+1:

Plastic body is not an option at this moment. :stuck_out_tongue:

Alu!

Just a teaser?

A little bump on this, with a IWA 2018 video!
This light will be called PS14
No concrete info, so far, about UI :person_facepalming:

The final product will come in two materials - Titanium & Stainless steel.

Are there any ideas about the User Interface, so far?

I will tell this once again: Mecarmy has the chance to make this flashlight a great EDC light (also depending on the price)! Please make sure you have a nice (eventually programmable) user interface

I love this concept !

It won’t be a dealbreaker, but I’d really like to see a moonlight mode on this lamp.

Really ? Who ? Any name and links you could share ?

Well, banggood.com doesn’t make it easy to search for the term “carbon fiber” regarding flashlights. But still here is at least one to get you started. Lumintop Prince

You should note that AFAIK, there isn’t a flashlight “made” out of carbon fiber, but there are some, like this one, that have carbon fiber decorations.

I am not rich. Check out the TiLan V3 by Reylight!

Ti and please get rid of the skulls and such …

Cheers for the reference and the warning about CF as a decoration as opposed to CF as a structural material

No skulls. Ti version will be released after the Aluminum version.
