Love my AA stainless so much I now carry it just about everywhere. Debating on either the Brass Cube or the Titanium 18650. I know that I will end up with both eventually, just can’t decide which one first.
I think it was about 3 weeks it took for mine to get here. Jackie may be quite busy. Seen a lot of talk on here about the lights and the giveaway he started as well. That might have pulled in a bunch more business as well. I have talked to him by email a few times. Easy to talk to and very nice. I do know that anything I order from him will come faster than anything I ever order from Ali.
7th week of waiting… :person_facepalming:
Since then i received a dozen orders from China.

Received my light this afternoon (47 days). Delivered by the regular mail(wo)man. Packaging was adequate, light was looking good. Put in a Windyfire 14500 IMR. It went from low, to med, to high, and into some blinkie mode and than stopped. Removed the 14500 and put in a Duraleak. Very faint version of three modes, with one very eye-blinding exception. Put the 14500 back: same reaction. Never saw the flash again.
Tried to open it. Well, good luck. The body-plus-switch is screwed on to one side of the pill, and the head is screwed on to the other side of the pill. So when you open the light it is going to be a kind of a lottery to which part the pill will stick: to the head or to the body. Any way, I am not completely sure if the malfunction lies in the driver or in the led, but I noticed that the dome of the led was damaged (melted ?!?).
Well from the beginning, because my french is not good enough.
1/ put in a 14500, clicked on, low-mid-high, it did not return to low but started flashing and than stopped working,
2/ put in an AA, first nothing, later retried, very faint low-mid-high, after few cycles one fierce flash (in my face  )
3/ tried several times more, on 14500 as well as on AA. sometimes faint low-mid-high, sometimes nothing
4/ and the led looks like is has melted
OK, thanks! Something went wrong obviously… and cooked the led?
This sounds like the typical AA driver that cannot withstand Li-ion. :person_facepalming:
I think someone already mentioned having an issue after using a 14500…?
