LIVE: Lumintop ODF30 groupbuy

Hey Frank!

OFF (2s hold) eco - low - mid - high - low - mid ....
TURBO only with doubleclick from low - mid - high
STROBE only with doubleclick from ECO

Got mine today, even more compact than my Rofis MR70.

nice

So, given how picky this light is about cell length, what’s a good cell to buy for it? It looks like Liitokala is going to be too short. Not sure if it’s safe to add a magnet…

got one from banggoods batch today with a spring on the driver except the metal tongue

will try to figure if there are differences soon

So are they all going to be shipping with a spring now, or was this just some one-time individual exception?

I’m using keeppower imr26650 6000mah in mine.

Brief introduction and cell compatibility

the new ODF30 has some 4-8% higher output as well

Interested. Pm me please.

already 2 people told me they got the springs

I just received my ODF30 yesterday, very pleased with the light. My light has a spring in it as well and seems to fit short 26650 batteries no problem. Waiting on my shockli 26650 5500mah batteries from mtn electronics. At the group buy price, I don’t believe there is anything close to this light. The switch rubber cover feels a bit flimsy to my liking, possible it might wear out over time. Other than that I couldn’t be happier. I might make this my new light for carry at work out on the flight line. Took a lot of convincing of myself to pull the trigger on a cool white light. This is the only cool white light I own, I may stick something warmer in it, we’ll see how it goes. Thanks martin for negotiating this deal.

nice to hear

That’s nice to hear. Do you know what causes the higher output? I would have thought replacing a button contact with a spring would have had an opposite effect.

I got a great deal on the Rofis MR70 using Martin’s code.

Unfortunately the Lumintop ODF30 isn’t as good a deal.

1. No included 26650 battery.
2. No dual side light (but that’s ok.)
3. UI not as straightforward.
4. Higher price.
5. No mode inbetween the mid 540 lumens to high 1800 lumens. An extra 1000/1100 lumens mode would be very useful.
6. The rubber switch feels a bit cheap.

Will wait for the next updated version or a better coupon… whichever comes first!

price difference is 12 $ (ODF30 is cheaper)

Interested

I don’t know the rofis history. Lumintop is a good brand… I am very happy with my odf30.

Liitokala, efest, and shockli all fits in the odf30.

Agreed. But so is Rofis. Their products are all top notch.

The Rofis MR70 has a similar max of 3500 lumens on turbo. It steps down to 1500 lumens after about 3 mins. That is a nice long period on turbo.

High is 1000 lumens. But doesn’t get too hot to hold at all even in an equatorial climate. Excellent flood.

Mid is a nice 540 lumens too.

And my personal peeve with the Lumintop ODF30 is that it doesn’t have a microUSB port for internal charging. The Rofis MR70 not only has a 2A quick charge port but can act as a powerbank too in an emergency.

What I do like about the Lumintop ODF30 is the constant high 1800 lumens in its HIGH MODE. If those heat sink fins allow comfortable handling while it runs on HIGH for an extended period, it would be truly useful. Can any owner confirm?

Based on the runtime charts that Narmattaru posted here , High mode is not constant. It steps down after about 20 minutes, but that’s a fairly long time.
