interested when available

Please put me on the list for a second and third one, thanks

Please add me to the interested list.

Thanks for the feedback. I have not followed one of these projects before and just did not know what it takes to really make something like this happen in your “free” time. Sorry to hear about your disasters, hope they are behind you for now.

I am also interested. Thanks

Thanks alot for your work on this, just read the latest post. Great news about using the Q8 in this.

Will definitely be buying the final lantern, as I’m pretty sure it’s going to kick ass!

This is getting very interesting. I was no. 377 on the list, please add another one for me (total 2).

Thanks for the hard work!

Please put me on the list for 1.

It looks great DBSAR :+1: :crown:

Sorry to hear about your hard times and hope things get better. Totally understand if you have to put things on hold for a while. There is more to life than lights after all.
Just thankful for the project and that it is still intact and moving forward.

Not sure if this had been covered yet, but is it possible to install a USB type c plug?

It has been discussed several times through the topic chat, but unsure of cost atm.

Thank you. I recently bought a phone with the type c, it seems superior. I was thinking about it as a long term reliable piece. Maybe there is a way to convert micro USB to type c down the road.

Im interested in one!

My opinion is that the micro usb option is the way to go since it’s almost certainly cheaper and also doesn’t require those of us not using type C at the moment to have to purchase new cables.

On the type of plug, type C is becoming the standard for a lot of devices already, and as it does, the availability and commonality of the plug will have products that only use usb for charging also migrate. A flashlight is an item that will last us for a long time, so I’d rather have it use the plug that is becoming standard in the near future than the one that is slowly but surely being phased out, even if it ads a little to the price. But at this point in the transition, micro USB oriented arguments still have a very strong foothold, just not my personal preference, specially since for charging purposes cheap adapters can be used instead of renewing one’s entire cable collection.

I would also buy one. Please put me on the list.

Long term the type c will be the standard. Right now micro is still so abundant. We all have many micro not as many type c

I’m interested in one, already posted at #1192 but not on the list, must have been missed. thanks

I agrees with using the Micro USB, keep it simple, and cheap!
Keep up the good work DBSAR!
