True. For me, the MF02 is the ideal light. I like just about everything about it including how it throws. I used to love the overwhelming flood and brightness of my DX80, but the MF02 is the one I keep taking with me everywhere and actually using.
I have over 150 lights, I find that there are those that I like best and as such I use those most often. Periodically I mix it up with some rotation but there are a lot of my lights that don’t get used. Nevertheless every single light in my line-up has a charged cell/cells installed and is in stand-by mode for instant use at any time.
I’ve got quite a few smaller lights, but when you get to the $150 and $200 range I have to be more practical. Unless it’s something that I can use for work. I’m still waiting for a light the size of the L6, but with a triple 70.2 reflector setup. Kind of like putting a Haikelite MT09R head onto a L6 battery tube. How can I get such a 20k+ lumen monster? That would definitely be worth $200.
If shipping is to be included it probably won’t be $150. I would expect quite a bit higher as shipping costs are going to be just as expensive as the GT. The two stores selling them on AliExpress are both $187 including 10 to 20 day shipping.
It looks like there’s going to be a Group Buy on this model but the final price hasn’t been decided yet.
I think u have to be realistic its a big light i doubt it will sell for around 150$, close to 200 then more like but who knows… it would still be under blf gt price.

Off topic, but how often do you check your batteries in your 150 flashlights for parasitic drain?
I don’t have parasitic drain. If the light is an e-switch light I manually break contact with a loosening of the tailcap or tube.
I’m extremely forgetful and have little “time sense” so it might be a couple of months before I check cells or it might be a year, it varies. Sometimes I get to looking for a specific cell and go through most of the lights, usually when I do that I charge em 30 or so at a time so they all go back on the shelves topped off.
