Hey Max
Is it new driver UI or the same old version?
Please yes. If it uses a ramping UI like the MT09R, I will buy the light instantly when I get my hobby money up again.

Hmm I’m considering buying this to send to TA for a dedomed XHP70.2 and driver swap to get 9k lumens and great throw, but I have so many big lights already.
Don’t buy another light then.
Keep your money to yourself.

That’s a good idea
I think the MT09R XHP35 HI pretty much serves the same function already.
Yeah.
If you really want to, just get the buck driver Lexel made for the MT09R XHP35.
Much more efficient than a FET light, and still has NarsilM.
Along with much lower moonlight.

For me I don’t really care about moonlight mode for throwers because they are only used for fun. I like a low moonlight for my small EDCs or even mega flooders that I can use as a lamp/lantern.
I want max power for throwers so I think FET may be more suitable but for XHP35, I wonder if it even makes a difference in max lumens. With that said, I do like Lexel’s buck driver. On the MF01 he modded for me, the startup lumens holdup pretty well even on partially depleted batteries.
How many people are in yet?
I would love to know.

I am debating if i should get one in xhp35. My plan is to get a TA driver and upgrade xhp35 hi.
Since you already have an XHP70.2 light, just get the XHP35HI version. At NW, it comes in at 5000k and 80CRI apparently.

only a third of the goal is reached... :(
Anyone know how well the HI version throws? Not seen any reviews of that led version.
Seems to throw very well.
Having an XHP35 HI with that size of reflector, as the reflector is about as deep as the Acebeam K70. Even at only 2500 lumens, 1200m throw is a reasonable claim.
Edit: I was perhaps wrong.
MT07S HI:
1600~1800 lumen and 220 kcd
Friday night we tested my MT09R XHP35 Hi from this GB and a Haikelite MT07s. The MT07s has a bit higher range, but the beam of the MT09R is much wider.
My luxmeter shows 220.000 candela for MT07s and 196.500 candela (MT09R:6meter, Sony VTC6) for my MT09R (NW, but it looks like CW).
Our second luxmeter shows 27% more candela ! But my luxmeter compared with many other luxmeter and shows the same candela for many other flashlights like other TLF users had detected.
For example:
