I like these new Sunwayman lights,
looks like a good UI:
Activation of the light：
A quick depress of the switch at the top to turn the light on; hold the switch the light will cycle through Low-Mid-High-Turbo. Last mode memorized.
Hidden Modes：
A quick double-click will activate Strobe and another quick double-click under Strobe will enter SOS.

There is always some people who asking for a flashlight around the house and that is good for beginners and easy to use. So I always keep 2-3 new pieces for them.
Totally. This is great flashlight for non-flashoholics with decent output, good tint and at ~670lm you don’t have issues with heat.
Built in micro USB charging is great because user doesn’t have to handle the cell at all - just use it like common cellphone. So with good quality cell it’s imho as safe for a newbie as possible for li-ion based light.
There’s only one thing to be aware of - to charge the cell inside the flashlight you have to turn the switch on as it’ mechanical switch which breaks the circuit otherwise. If you put 3500mAh cell inside, it lasts so long with sporadic use that some users tend to forget the fact and then call to sulk their’s great flashlight doesn’t turn on anymore - just flickers and doesn’t charge
But this design also have the advantage of zero standby current draw when not used so no issues with drained cells after few weeks or even months.
