CRX DQG Seoul Viosys UV Flashlight GiveAway - (Finished)

18-3838

Didn’t think UV LED’s phosphoresce like that?

At least the simple 5mm one I modded doesn’t but that’s because it’s not a CRX creation.

Gonna go google anomalies. Be right back

Thanks for the giveaway! 5 years of continuous amazement.

Nice 50 pound bill you have there.
 (I wonder what those strange letters mean…)

Will add some interesting pictures I took later, away from home at the moment.

Same here, none really accurately portray, more like trying to project though I don’t watch much TV, can’t stand the dumb adverts every ten minutes and don’t like unnecessary drama. Do like Sci-Fi though.

Well done guys, that picture was taken with a Nichia 219C LED.
That leaves one…

I fully support your country and have always been impressed with the many ways it has shaped our world ...

..I use your tape ....

Wow quite the GAW. Heres a photo I took of my retro flocked blacklight poster lite up by my Convoy S2+ nichia UV light with the ZWB2 filter installed.

Trippy

Scotch tape reference is great Boaz. Thanks CRX for answering my tv question. I watch too much tv but never the commercials. Great give a way. Please don’t count me in but awesome flashlight.

Congratulations on your first five years, CRX

You have imposed a lot of rules on this GAW, a few of which have the same effect on me as an thread without title that says “deleted, don’t respond” or as a bottle of Heineken (reaches parts other beers can’t reach).
My personal opinion is that rules can be useless, doubtfull, or useful.

Useless, like:

  • It is illegal to die in the Houses of Parliament. (note by me: When you gotta go, you gotta GO !!)

Doubtful, like:

  • In the city of York (England) it is legal to murder a Scotsman within the ancient city walls,
but only if he is carrying a bow and arrow

Useful, like:

- In Scotland, if someone knocks on your door and requires the use of your toilet, you must let them enter

  • The 50 pound-note in your picture is printed by the Bank of Clydesdale, one of three Scottish banks licensed to print their own bank-notes. These notes are accepted as legal payment in all of Scotland.

BTW Other countries may also have useful rules/laws. Like in Alabama, it is illegal to be blindfolded while driving a vehicle

Need I say that you DON’T have to count me in on this GAW.

- I already have more UV lights than I care to admit

  • I already have won a CRX light. A few days ago I showed that copper beauty to a few friends (of the female persuasion) and I had a hard time getting it back

Awww come on, I thought it was a cry for help to brighten up your day… honest :innocent:

The fact that I get disqualified as a result is a moot point.

Sorry if I offended.

Don’t worry about it. Rules updated

CRX, are you referring to the fact that this custom creation is actually made of two DQG 1/2-AA extension tubes rather than a complete DQG Slim? Although that’s more creativity than anomoly, so…

That makes it a lot easier
Count me in !

No, something in an image

Congratulations on the five years membership.

And thank you very much for all you great posts with one spectacular flashlight after another. They show so much ingenuity and craftsmanship, please keep them coming.

Not in for the GAW I have more than enough flashlights as it is, including five UV flashlights.

Could it be the CRX stamped in two places on the Clydesdale bank note?

Well done

Reading back through the thread it seems I wasn’t the first to spot it, but I’ll celebrate anyway.
