CRX DQG Seoul Viosys UV Flashlight GiveAway - (Finished)

Scotch tape reference is great Boaz. Thanks CRX for answering my tv question. I watch too much tv but never the commercials. Great give a way. Please donā€™t count me in but awesome flashlight.

Congratulations on your first five years, CRX

You have imposed a lot of rules on this GAW, a few of which have the same effect on me as an thread without title that says ā€œdeleted, donā€™t respondā€ or as a bottle of Heineken (reaches parts other beers canā€™t reach).
My personal opinion is that rules can be useless, doubtfull, or useful.

Useless, like:

  • It is illegal to die in the Houses of Parliament. (note by me: When you gotta go, you gotta GO !!)

Doubtful, like:

  • In the city of York (England) it is legal to murder a Scotsman within the ancient city walls,
but only if he is carrying a bow and arrow

Useful, like:

- In Scotland, if someone knocks on your door and requires the use of your toilet, you must let them enter

  • The 50 pound-note in your picture is printed by the Bank of Clydesdale, one of three Scottish banks licensed to print their own bank-notes. These notes are accepted as legal payment in all of Scotland.

BTW Other countries may also have useful rules/laws. Like in Alabama, it is illegal to be blindfolded while driving a vehicle

Need I say that you DONā€™T have to count me in on this GAW.

- I already have more UV lights than I care to admit

  • I already have won a CRX light. A few days ago I showed that copper beauty to a few friends (of the female persuasion) and I had a hard time getting it back

Awww come on, I thought it was a cry for help to brighten up your dayā€¦ honest :innocent:

The fact that I get disqualified as a result is a moot point.

Sorry if I offended.

Donā€™t worry about it. Rules updated

CRX, are you referring to the fact that this custom creation is actually made of two DQG 1/2-AA extension tubes rather than a complete DQG Slim? Although thatā€™s more creativity than anomoly, soā€¦

That makes it a lot easier
Count me in !

No, something in an image

Congratulations on the five years membership.

And thank you very much for all you great posts with one spectacular flashlight after another. They show so much ingenuity and craftsmanship, please keep them coming.

Not in for the GAW I have more than enough flashlights as it is, including five UV flashlights.

Could it be the CRX stamped in two places on the Clydesdale bank note?

Well done

Reading back through the thread it seems I wasnā€™t the first to spot it, but Iā€™ll celebrate anyway.

God help us.

Donā€™t tell us you donā€™t do this at weekends CRXā€¦ā€¦ā€¦. we know your guilty pleasure! :stuck_out_tongue:

Nice offer CRX, love reading the competition  ā€¦ One question ā€ Can that light beam us up ? ā€œ, if so I will join inā€¦

CRX, I admire your fantastic work with flashlights. Do you think itā€™s possible to add a voice recognition system to a flashlight?

I think thereā€™s a peacock in the window next to the pic of the shower curtains. Thanks for the giveaway and nice light. I personally have a really good feeling about this one.

This direct quote from CRX is so wrong.
ā€˜ā€™Here to celebrate five years of me getting on your nerves and you guys keeping me busy & out of trouble with your ideas, information and generally just being cool I think it is time for a little give awayā€™ā€™.
This should read, Iā€™m sorry for inspiring so many members here to try and modify and build lights like I do with the only result being trashed lights and smoke from electronics which all results in zero light output bleeding knuckles and lots of cursing.
Thanks heaps CRX.

A chance to win a fancy CRX light. Wow :+1:

Congratulations on the five years membership.

I do not have any UV light and I would like to have one.

Please count me in.

Thanks for your contributions CRX, they are invaluable.

Why is the max current just 1000 mA and not 1050-1140? Too high Vf?
