[New Release] Mankerlight E05 II AL/Cu 1300 Lumen Highest Output Pocket EDC Flashlight in 14500/AA Class

If the NW version is selected (NW:1* Cree XHP35 HI+8* Nichia 219C) does this mean the XHP35 HI is also NW?

What is the CCT for each emitter type (the XHp35 and the Nichia 219)?

What is the current requirement for each 18650 cell?

Quesion1: If the NW version is selected (NW:1* Cree XHP35 HI+8* Nichia 219C) does this mean the XHP35 HI is also NW?

Answer1: Yes.

Question2: What is the CCT for each emitter type (the XHp35 and the Nichia 219)?

Answer2: 4000k

Question3: What is the current requirement for each 18650 cell?

Answer3: It's no less than 10A current. we high recommend you choose high drain 18650 batteries.

Thanks for the answers!

4000K is a bit on the warm end of neutral, 5000K would have been perfect IMO, but I suppose 4000K would please users that prefer a warmer tint.

Now I’m curious what is the CCT’s of the CW version, would you please post it also?

Since this is a $200.00 flashlight I would need to love it, not just like it.

Thanks for your question. It is 6500K.

Vinh already stated that he intends to make a 9*XHP35 HI variant.

Wow.

Is the quad optic used in this light the same proprietary one as in other Manker lights, or is it a Carclo optic?

For me personally, at $200.00 I’d need to reconsider on this one…

4000K probably too warm
6500K definitely too cold

For NW, 5000K would have been ideal.

Why

Judging by pics - definitely not Carclo, likely the one in the other Mankers.

XHP35 HI is much more efficient than XP-L HI. Especially at high currents. I expect such mod to turn this light from a good flooder to a great flooder (while it remains OK thrower at the same time).

Okay, so I’m assuming Vinh does not want to change the mcpcb or optics so hes just going to swap emitters and drivers.

I assumed he would swap more parts to get a really big output. He’s usually pretty extreme like that. He seems to be using a conservative approach here.

I’m a big fan of Manker TIR.
4 LEDs in a 22 mm diameter is a lot. But more importantly - it can actually reasonably collimate them, competing with 20% larger Carclo. If I’m not mistaken, Manker actually wins that competition.
I’m a big fan of XHP35 HI.
Lots of output in a tiny space. And good efficiency. And good tints. And good throw as well. I do have some gripes, I believe it could be significantly improved, but it is great as it is already.
I find the combination of both awesome.
Actually the first time I saw them together was in a mock-up of Vinh’s BLF GT. Which had more than 2 TIRs. I fell in love immediately….not in that GT, but in the TIR+LED set.

It would be hard to fit anything more powerful in that space, regardless of how extreme you are. Unless one was to make a mule.
So yes, it may not be a hard mod (depending on the driver). But I believe it will be a well-working one.

Manker E04 550 Lumens CREE XPL LED Flashlight With USB Rechargeable 16340 Battery have released.

Welcome to check more info: http://www.mankerlight.com/manker-e04-550-lumens-cree-xpl-led-flashlight-with-usb-rechargeable-16340-battery/

That looks so great! (More pics in post #1)

But you keep using that one click on, long press off that I’m always getting confused with and drives me crazy.

Will you ever change the UI so that on/off are the same action? (Edit, it looks like you can long press to turn on. That’s not too bad, then.)

Wait, you can’t rotate the clip? That’s a second problem for me.

:weary:

I’ve looked at all sides and angles and don’t see any type of USB port for charging. Is the title correct? How does it recharge?

Can have 14500 Body Tube Flashlight Accessories .That’s even better.

They do have a AA size light, but I don’t think it takes 14500. Just pop off that white diffuser and it looks pretty good. Run you a eneloop in it.

Really liking the T02. Might have to try one out. Love the outputs on both cells. Mode spacing is nice on both cells as well. I think it’s a winner.
