Lumintop ODL20C USB Type-C Rechargeable Thrower [New]

Looks just like the ODF30 but I think they made the diagram a little confusing. Double click to turbo from low, mid, or high. Then single click to get back to last used mode before turbo.

Yes, you are right.
Turbo can be accessed by two quick clicks from low, mid or high (any one of them), and one click from Trobo will return to the previous output level. For example, when you get into Turbo on Med, then another one click will return to Med.

Yes, that it is.

When will this flashlight be available for purchase? I love my Lumintops so I can’t pass this one up.

I wish it came in neutral white, 21700 and had a low moonlight mode….

What is the real average throwing distance of this Lumintop ODL20C? The advertised distance is max 860 meters which sounds high. The all new Thrunite Catapult V6 is just above 750 meters of throw.

We will only find this out when it is released and someone does real world tests.

What is the inside diameter of the reflector?

ODL20C is now available on our Lumintop online (China): lumintoponline.com
and will need some days for Amazon.

The inside diameter of the reflector is 50mm.

I just received the light - first thing measured the throw - it is within the marginal mistake vs. spec - 1519 lux@11m, i.e. 183K lux. I find the quality impecable and knurling both interesting and useful. Sits quite heavy in hand, which I equal to solid and feel as a good thing. Overall very happy with the new toy. My only gripe is I cannot find matching quality holster - could have been a nice touch in the package.

EDIT: I cannot open the bezel by hand - looks like glued, which is not my favourite approach

I received mine too…. The build quality is very good, however the glued bezel is a pain in the neck.

I’m not a fan of cool white emitters, so want to swap it out. I wish manufacturers would stop doing this!!!

The reflector design also could be improved.

Thanks for this info. Then the Amutorch JM70 is the better thrower.

Well, it is more value and nominally it throws little further, but with half of the lumens and 1,3 cm larger head. In my books it is a different type of light.

Both are throwers. XPL vs XHP35.

Hello, I’m trying to decide between this light and the ThruNite Catapult V6 XHP35 HI while they’re both still being offered for the same price. Can someone who already received the Lumintop tell me if you can access turbo from off or do you have to turn it on first? How long can it sustain that mode before stepping down? Also is it press and hold to turn off like the ODF30? If yes, then how long do you have to wait? One second or more? Thanks in advance.

Glued bezel = no buy!

Thanks, that’s good to know. So does that mean the bezel on the Thrunite isn’t glued? Is it just sealed tight, not even any loctite?

I had no choice - Trunite do not ship in EU and did not want to pay the 20% premium from hkequipment. If you make 3 fast clicks from off on the first click light turns on, then with the other goes to turbo, i.e. it is like a shortcut for turbo. Long press to turn off is like 1,5 sec. I will measure the stepdown tonight and will write here.

I see…so if the total price for both lights were exactly the same, would you have picked the Thrunite instead?
