ALIVE: Haikelite MT07S only US$46.72

Is it to late to get in on this? I want one in the xhp35 hi. I just put my email in the form. If it’s still open I’ll use your link so you get the credit. It’s ashame people are stealing from your work

...the Paracord hand loop was one of my favorite MT09R bonus features...

I have 30Q cells aplenty, flat and button top. Any other cell recommendations for this light for Max performance or runtime (maybe 35E's ?)

mmmm…… I don’t know whose fault it is then. But it is clearly listed on the BG website that it should come with the “metal belt claw”. They even show two photos of it. I don’t have the MT09R myself. But from my perspective, if BG lists it on the website, with photos showing it as well, then as a buyer, I am being led to believe that it is included. So I hope they come to the party, and send it to me.

Package included:
1 x HaikeLite MT07S HI 3000Lumens Long Range LED Flashlight
1 x Lanyard
1 x O-rings
1 x Tripod Mount Screw
1 x Metal belt claw

^ I just checked. It’s shown on the 35 HI version, but not on the 70 version. But of course it’s listed for the 70 version as well. Assuming that it is the metal belt claw.

Which photos are you referring too? Maybe it’s because I just woke up but I cant see which part you’re missing.

The last two photos with the branded cable and the thing that attaches it to the loop?

Umcookies,

Yessir, the thick braided Paracord pictured on BG is the premium one as came with my MT-09R. It's world class, perfect when using the light on higher hotter outputs. Unequalled by any other. I'd spend $10 on it alone, but pssssst don't tell HL :-)

Since it's pictured on the BG site should be exactly what to expect. Which case prepare to be really nicely surprised.

Cheers!

Hi ssschen,
My flashlight XHP70.2 version came with the exact same contents as your box photo. No belt claw.
I think we got a cheaper lanyard.
If you look at my version of the light on BG website there is no lanyard in the photos at all.
Your version shows the more deluxe lanyard in the BG photos.

Still, I’m happy with the light and not too concerned about the lanyard.

I have to say it does look awesome, since you have one can you confirm that the D-shackle came with the better paracord? I believe that is what the others believe was missing from their package.

If I am reading all the posts correctly, sounds like all of us that have ordered the MT07S from BG did not receive the “metal belt claw” (which really is a weird description) D-Shackle or braided paracord, as you guys have described it, make much more sense.

I don’t think the included lanyard is strong enough on this big and heavy light. I have used similar thickness lanyard on another lighter flashlight, and the lanyard cord broke in half when I was just leaving it dangling off my wrist doing light walking once. Unfortunately, the flashlight fell onto the concrete floor and caused a few noticeable dings and scratches. I have been very suspicious of the quality of all the “free” lanyards included with flashlights since then. I no longer attached any of them to my heavier flashlights.

Going slightly OT, is it even possible to attach lanyards to the heavier flashlights like the MT03?? The BLF Q8 which I use often as an EDC also didn’t have anywhere on the tailcap to attach a cord to

I guess I would still need a D shackle to fix the thick green end to the screwed mounting.
I wouldn’t hang this flashlight on my belt because my trousers would fall down!!
The other thin black string end of lanyard probably wouldn’t last too long on the back end of flashlight before snapping.
This lanyard looks more like the type used on a lightweight compact camera.

At the end of the day, we all got a great flashlight for a bloody good price.
To keep their costs down they obviously throw in a cheap lanyard.
I’m not too worried about this and might look for a more robust strap (flat nylon similar to a dog leash).
I’m sure I will find something for a few bucks.
I had to replace flimsy straps on a back pack once and used heavy duty dog leash from eBay.
Works better than the original.

Umcookies,

Yes, you are correct, the thick double Paracord braided handle is prefitted to a beefy threaded D-ring that fits the well machined tripod mount hole on the body. It's pretty flipping fantastic IMHO.

** LANYARDGATE UPDATE

My MT07S XHP35 NW White arrived today... quite impressed with the light!

Exactly as advertised, the super-deluxe braided Paracord handle that also came with my MT09R accompanied this light, but amazingly at the SAME time the closure bolt for the D-ring assembly on the MT09R loosened itself and disappeared while changing batteries. So between the 2, one handle is useable....

i am more than suitably impressed with the lights performance, especially battery runtime. Throw is excellent, with a fairly even, though moderate corona surrounding a very intense small center spot. One thing gnaws at me, the reflector has what looks like a hazey residue on it, a QC fault in manufacturing. Its impact on actual performance is negligible, however, aesthetically it does detract significantly from the rest of the light which reflects top flight machining and finishing. I’d rather have a perfectly clear smooth reflector and a throwaway lanyard, however.

Id like to see if Haikelite will address the reflector issue. I’d prefer they just send a new part, since shipping the thing is just crazy.

For the discounted price, this light is a stellar bargain, and I highly recommend it.

final notes: I like the straightforward UI, but HL could really stand to upgrade the power “button”, it seems flimsy compared to the robustness of the rest of the light.

Good Lux!

PS MANY THANKS M4D M4X for your work and making this possible

I wonder if it’s possible that only the 35 version is supplied with the braided paracord handle. Only the 35 version is pictured with this on Banggood’s site, and perhaps to compensate for the fact that the 35 is a cheaper emitter than the 70, although both versions have the same price.

Any idea how many Lux this 35 ?

But mine is the XHP35 HI version, and it didn’t come with it.

BG is asking me to wait, and it has been days and they still haven’t came back to me.

I will email them again today.

:+1: Then it appears random.
