The new Thorfire TK01 has some neat design choices.
I’ve got discussion with them over the weekend too. I can add to that that the shipping cost to Poland is $6. Not bad. 
Well, to Portugal is 7$ so it is much better than the + 20$ from US Amazon 
They opened their Amazon Store in Europe and will have their products on the wharehouse within 2 weeks Worths the waiting for sure

Nitecore Tube good as the cheap keychain flashlight But SureFire Sidekick is the beast. 300 lumens keychain flashlight brightness can easily beat low-quality 1000 lumens flashlight. But, the price is high. Here is my favorite keychain flashlight list: Best Keychain Flashlight 2018 for Everyday Use.
I notice that although this particular forum includes coin cell lights it is the more expensive lights that are chosen. I have purchased MANYof the coin cell lights off ebay for less than $4.00 for 10 lights. Those are what I used on my key ring until the Olight i3EEOS came along.
The ebay light last a long time and give enough light to light up a room in the dark.
Would someone please tell me why these cheap (budget) lights are not liked?

I like them very much, same goes for everyone I know that got one from me for their keychains. At any given moment, at least 20 of them, in various colors are in one of my boxes to use on zippers, keychains, gift etc. They are great for what they are but, for some unknown reason, I don’t count them as flashlights.
I have one flashlight that’s much better than any coin cell one. When I need a light - it’s right there on my neck. Why would I want another, inferior one in addition to this?
I don’t like things hanging around my neck or much weight on my keyring. That is why I like them, and why the Olight i3EE is the first flashlight I have put on it. But if one doesn’t mind a larger light hanging around their neck have at it. :money_mouth_face:
I usually carry a small AAA light in my left pocket, but would not carry a AA and certainly not an 18650 light as an edc.
I realize one’s work or daily rotine might dictate larger lights, but I have no need for a large light.

I had quite a few coin-cell lights, but they’d barely throw enough light to see the keyhole if kept on a keychain. I loved the idea, and had quite a few (shudder to think how many…), but implementation left something to be desired.
Today, more efficient LEDs might make up for it, but back then… nah.
Also, getting squished would so easily turn them on and run them down.
So unless it’s a deeply recessed button to reduce the chances of accidental activation (and even that’s no guarantee), I wouldn’t bother.
If I needed a smaller-the-better light, an AAA twisty would then be best for me.
Alas, I’m EDCing a UT20, a monster of an 18650 light. Doesn’t bug me. So AA, AAA, let alone coin-cell, isn’t that much of an issue.
I got two thingies that slip onto key-blanks (from the factory, non-serviceable) with a red and amber LED built-in. Uh, one each, that is. The red one’s dead at this point, and the amber barely glows. Then again, they’re quite ancient. Those are nifty. Squeeze the key and the LED’s aimed right at the keyhole!
Had one, prehistoric era, with a bigger cell (PX-something? camera battery…) with an actual hotwire bulb! Cell’s replaceable, actually. B’harni knows what I ever did with those (1 pristine, 1 quite “worn”). Separate units, would slide onto an existing key.
Those I’d see a market for, and would get an assload to gift to people, as they’re quite useful.
I wouldn’t call Nitecore Tini particularly heavy…heavier than a plastic button battery light, but is the difference meaningful for you jerm03?
I have an Olight i3EEOS on my key ring, and that is about all I want on it. I don’t normally use my key ring light as I prefer to have a light unattched to anything. I usually carry my EDC in my left hand pocket, and I only want a AAA. I could use a 1 AA if necesary. For a AA I use a Thrunite T10. It is a BLF model we got several year ago.
I have never found the need or desire to go to anything like a 18650 light. If I wanted more than a AA it would be a CR 123.
But for a coin cell light the cheapies from eBay do all I want in such a light.

Agro, I looked at the Nitecore Tini, but is more expensive than I pay for lights. I am a Budget buyer. :money_mouth_face:

Indeed, that’s a far different price class. I don’t regret buying mine though, despite that I’m often annoyed by the UI.
It also appears to be a bit bulky.
I think my favorite EDC would be a thrunite Ti3 because of its long runtime in Med mode.

That’s the key. Until they come out with more efficient, brighter 5mm LEDs, (IMHO), they’re not worth the trouble, but I admit, I still use a couple as zipper pulls.
Lightbringer, I wonder when was the last time you tried one of the cheap 5mm LEDs? I don’tfind them so dim.
