Well if he doesn’t consider himself a “professional” flashlight salesman, maybe “amateur” status is more fitting.

I consider it an amateur move to use 100 sales of SC26 lights to pay himself for money tied up in a completely separate MT09R deal. Robbing Peter to pay Paul is not professional whatsoever.

I just want to be clear. So you are refusing to refund purchasers of the SC26 because of a completely different product group buy (MTR09) that you weren’t compensated for from Haikelite? That’s between you and Haikelite.

We purchased the SC26 directly from you. We gave you our money in good faith. We were exceptionally patient. You did not ship a single SC26. You have a legal (and ethical) responsibility to refund these purchases.

I’ve been a major supporter and repeatedly defended Terry in both MT09R and SC26 GBs. I even made a post yesterday in the SC26 thread to hint that HL is the liar and not Terry. However, after reading all the posts now and from my own recollection of events, I have another feeling now and posted it here

Terry, I’m not 100% sure my understanding is correct and I do hope they are wrong so I’m hoping you can explain how I’m misunderstanding the situation.

I'm sure you could have done a much better job.

The service bill is totally separate from anything.

One other thing. None of this was my idea. It was all at Haikelite's recommendation and my money should have been paid months ago.

It is very easy to be on the outside looking on and seem to have much better answers. I'm guilty of that myself on many occasions. There are so many parts to this that I am simply not allowed to make public that may help understanding a little easier but, until I can legally do that there is little more I can say.

Actually no.. by trade I'm an industrial mechanic. I also do pretty well with most small electronics.

Lights usually sell themselves. I should have realized after all that had to go into the MT09R that if a light will not sell itself. I other words do what is designed and claimed to be capable of doing then it needs to go back for some refinements before going to market.

Well, just so that everyone here that isn’t subscribed to the SC26 GB knows. Before you decide to purchase anything from Terry, keep in mind that Terry is not a professional flashlight salesman even though he claimed he was a distributor of HL lights at the onset of the GBs. Also I want to update you on his unprofessional and unethical business practices as evidenced by the SC26 GB.

Many of us have filed PP claims against Terry for holding our money and not providing us with our lights. HL has stated publicly that Terry does not represent HL, and that Terry has not made payment for the SC26 lights even though GB members had made full payment back in February. Terry represented a couple of months ago that he had already made payment to HL but recently he has admitted that he did NOT pay HL for the shipment of the SC26 lights as he told us before.

Instead, Terry has given no valid reason for refunding the GB members when there is no expectation of the SC26 GB being fulfilled. Terry continues to insist on holding onto our money, so that he can settle an unrelated dispute with HL. Therefore, GB members have filed PP claims against Terry to get their money back. I’m not sure if all 100 members have filed but some wise people requested a refund before this all went down.

Fraud? Are you kidding me.

I have been advising every email I get to file a PayPal claim.

The manufacturer made the promises, claims, and lies. Not me.

It if this is how well I'm thought of after fighting as hard as possible in the MT09R group but to get everyone a fair and honest deal and correctly working light then I'm done.

Do you know of anyone else that would have. I know of maybe one and I think he may have given up before it was over. I didn't and every person that purchased that product is now fully entitled to something that did not exist until I began fighting for the customers.

I do not care what the openly claimed. Ac fording to 5 different emails from Dale himself. BangGood and GearBest owe them over 40k each. I will happily forward that to anyone that wants to see it.

Believe what you want. I never intentionally cheated anyone here at all. And you will get refunded for your SC26 purchase. Probably not today but you will get it if I have to pay it from my own paycheck.

Either way if this is how well I'm thought of here then I'm out regardless.

See how well Haikelite treats you. How many of you are still waiting for extension tubes, charging units and the promised drivers.

No one as of yet has gotten a re-designed replacement driver and chances are you may not or if you do it will still be months.

The last testing the completed they could not even understand how to kick the light into turbo to full output even with basic step y step instructions. These are supposed to be engineers but can read basic instructions or building, installing and operating a driver that 80 percent of the members here could do with the parts and instructions.

Whatever Haikelite did or does wrong, some we might find out, and some we will never know. Whatever the case, it will not justify your behaviour, words and attitude towards the BLF community. It is you Terry White who wrote all the words you have written. And based on these words I can easily say that it does not look good for you.

Terry if your attorney is watching this thread very closely. Why didn’t he advise you to refund our money? I am a very simple person if I made a purchased through your website back in Feb and for whatever the reason I didn’t receive the goods. Don’t you think I am entitled to a refund without go through all the hassle? This is only for me to understand. I am very confused that you still don’t know why people are not happy with you. Why don’t you start to issue the refund a few weeks ago and let us know SC26 is not happening because it didn’t meet the spec? I will be 100% ok with that decision and I will continue buying from you. I know you have a problem with HL but it has nothing to do with SC26. Am I right?

Shoot man, have your attorney contact me via the forum. I will be happy to direct him to proper threads where you admitted to stealing the group buy money to compensate yourself for an unrelated matter.

Here is my main sticking point with your dishonesty, Terry:

You claimed that you were in contact with Haikelite nearly every day and that the lights were shipped (on a couple separate occasions). Then when you were exposed, you claimed that the expected shipment turned out to be “springs.” So with all of the alleged contact with Haikelite, you told your customers the lights had shipped without ever receiving confirmation from Haikelite. Since you didn’t pay Haikelite the money we gave you, you knew they would not ship the lights. You’re dishonest. Plain and simple.

Because…

1. Terry doesn’t have an attorney.
2. When Terry speaks to an attorney, they will inform him it is illegal (in any state) to accept money for goods and not provide that good, unless a refund is made.
3. Terry believes that the US Attorney General would be interested in suing Haikelite (which is purely a civil matter) for 100 flashlights amounting to $3,200 usd.

Yes, there is a charge device for MT09R / MT03, will send you the photo of prototype tomorrow. We are still in testing the charger, when testing is done , production is very quick. Cause we already made some parts half-done.

Even though it’s always a good idea to report bad actors, I don’t believe Terry has a business license to revoke. “He Said She Said Sales” isn’t listed in a South Carolina Secretary of State business search: Business Name Search - Business Entities Online - S.C. Secretary of State. I believe only LLCs, Corporations, and nonprofits are listed, so perhaps he has a local business license. But I can’t say I’d take his word for it.

As i always said, we appreciate the effort you made for haikelite.

We have been counting up all the sales and records in our MT09R group buy.

You thought we have earned profits from MT09R group buy. In fact we did not have any profit, we lost money in MT09R group buy.

We have sold totally 85 pcs of MT09R all in all .

Production cost for MT09R is 65usd for 70.2 version , 58usd for 35hi version.

Shipping cost for each flashlight comes to 22usd.

We have to ship the TA replacement driver to each customer, the cost comes to another 25usd for each driver plus shipping to worldwide. (We made a small batch of TA driver , small batch makes the cost exteremly high)

And we have to send TA 2000usd to get the MT09R problem fixed.

We lost a lot of money in MT09R group buy.And I do not think you are willing to share the negative profit (lost money ) with us for the MT09R group buy .

We appreciate your help with organizing the MT09R group and thank you very much for all the effort you have made.

As to SC26 , we also noticed the SC26 sample is not that good, we already had perfect SC26 available. SC26 XPL version have always been available since one month ago.
