My modest collection

NW or CW?
Please, compare to MF02

On the Thrutnie site appeared Catapult V6 in the NW version and …. I could not resist :person_facepalming: . All that remains is to wait.

Do they really ship within/to the EU again? What warehouse did you choose when you ordered your V6?
Before the TLF was shut down for maintenance the last I heard was that Thrunite has cancelled new orders from European customers (pre-orders were not affected) who chose a different warehouse (US, Canada, Japan). The European warehouse is not selectable anymore for they have stated to discontinue shipping to Europe. Some weeks ago they told they wanted to build up a new sales infrastructure over here.

I chose USA. With the payment highlighted my address with the country, so it should not be a problem. In addition, there was a fee for shipping $ 5. Apparently shipping is coming from Germany but not from Amazon. We’ll see.

Most probably, you’ll be receiving your V6 from Essen, Germany - IF they won’t cancel it. They seem to have a new warehouse in Germany. I got mine via HERMES from there. And yes, Amazon does not ship it anymore over here.

You are missing the BLF A6!
The best general purpose tube light you can think of.

Switch on the back …. I do not like.

I already have the Meteor, should i try the BLF Q8?

I like Q8. It has a more tight beam than M43. Great interface. Price … I do not see the reason why I do not buy Q8

Thrunite canceled my order for V6. I do not want my money, no, I will spend it differently.

For consolation, I bought Emisar D4. I have one weary akku 30Q, so I will have a partner in the form of D4.

I could not resist the price MT07S HI
When it happens, I will make measurements and add photos to the collection.
So in the near future the collection will be bigger by D4 (Black, XP-G2) and MT07S (Black, XHP35HI)

Emisar D4 from XP-G2 5000K joined my collection. Interesting flashlight, UI great, performance could be better (anodizing) but not bad. The peculiar fact that the same LEDs as in the Meteor M43 are slightly warmer. Accurate measurements indicated that the M43 has 4810K and the Emisar D4 4645K.
Meteor:

Emisar:

The flashlight has an error and with a standard temperature threshold setting, it flashes from time to time. I changed the threshold to over 60 degrees Celsius and now is the super. Nothing blinks and the turbo goes down after 110 seconds. The infrared temperature meter showed 61 degrees. I like the torch and stay with me.

In the meantime, I decided to replace the LED in TC20. I could not look at those yellows at 70.2 anymore. A massacre, I hate this LED. I decided to change to MT-G2. Of course, it was not without adventures. During tests, I accidentally made a short circuit and flew a resistor and a transistor with smoke. Of course, I did not give up, the transistor is not there so I do not have the moon mode but I’ve chosen the resistor accordingly and the new LED gives fire. I got on the tail 8.6A at 4.15V. In the evening, I will take measurements and add some photos.

There is no centering plate because there is no need.

… The most important color. Ah, there is nothing to compare, pure white without additional shades. I have the impression that the beam of light is more focused. Measurements will tell the truth, but later. I really like TC20 now.

Measurements done.

TC20 with MT-G2 reached 2602 lumens. Coverage fell from 273 meters to 243 meters. It does not matter to me because the quality of lighting is worth it. In high mode there are 1230 lumens. I’m very happy.

I forgot to add that the driver in TC20 is really strong. I released 18A at 4V and survived it and LED.

@komeko, you should have went with an XHP70 90CRI shaved.

From Zak Wilson’s experience, it looks absolutely gorgeous, even better than the MT G2 by a mile.

I have an ordinary 70.2 shaved and it is yellow for pain. I was looking for 5000K with a high CRI but no one is on sale. At the moment TC20 with MT-G2 satisfies me 100%.

There is an XHP70 90CRI at Arrow which looks amazing shaved and sanded.

One day, you should try it

But there is no 5000K version

Isn’t 4500k good though? Not as white as 5000k, but still pretty close:

But it will happen …
He is waiting for the arrival of three new flashlights and as I will compare and measure them. These will be MT07S HI, Catapult V6 and GT Mini. For comparison, I will add UT02 after modifications after which it reached over 1,700 lumens. Of course, all versions are NW.

A few new pics because Thrunite V6 joined the family. I like it very much. Waiting now for MiniGT and maybe TN42?
