raitushar9’s first post at this forum and the order is not flashlight.
Looks like he is trying to pressure GB through our forum, should we entertain this kind of posts and sided him as consumer even if GB has served BLF community right?
And we don’t really know what has happen and who should we trust.
Any advice how to actually use those points before they expire, though?
As I mentioned, I tried at pretty much each step to find the box that usually presents itself asking how many points I’d want to use, and nothing showed.
Just like when paying through paypal, from what I remember, it goes to the PP site I guess to authorise the transaction (specify the card, confirm the address, etc.), then comes back to GB so you can choose which shipping method, etc., only this just went right to payment.
Hi ,
Please note that we will send several emails to inform you before the points will be expired.
Please note points can’t be used together with coupon.
The discount (from the Points) cannot exceed 30% of the final commodity value. Coupons cannot be used together with points to reduce prices.
Powerbank came with broken screen, I sent a photo and asked about my options. Refund and keep it, plain and simple. That’s the second time I am having issue with an item and both times they proposed the same. So, a big thank you to GB, I continue to feel safe ordering from them.
It’s not just dust, it’s some sort of a grease, it doesn’t come off, when you try to clean it it just smudges everywhere.
I have a video evidence (unboxing or should I say - unpacking video) showing that that’s the condition it came out of a sealed envelope. GB’s reaction?

Same with Banggood, nothing new here. It is something difficult for the chinese that showing the honest not so good reviews are better for sales than just the good ones, fake or not. But some sellers got it: DX I feel does not censor reviews and certainly their forums section has no censoring at all. Also it seems that Fasttech shows no sign of censoring.
We would like to extend our sincerest apologies for this inconvenience.
We can confirm that we always post positive reviews and negative reviews if they demand our request.
Hi, thank you for your comment.
Please send me your email address, order number and the SKU number of the review via PM so that I can resolve this issue for you.
Thank you for your assistance.
Hi.
Been dealing with them over a coupla yrs now. Only ever had 2 small problems (one theirs).
Fixed over a coupla mails and another 30 days del for reeplacement.
Never needed to complain. they asked me to review some torches a while ago. Through Facebook.
There’s no way I’d ever have that privacy robbing prog near my computer.
Granddaughter added it for me (without telling). when it first came out. Took me yrs to remove all traces of it. and it still sneaks things in here occasionally.
The inflated lumens etc. is usually just the suppliers to them. Details of whatever.
It’s China remember.
so it doesn’t really matter, does it.and everything is on a disposable possibility list.
when/IF it arrives.
Whenever I order things from there unless under an insurance/parcel policy.
I mentally write off the money until it arrives, or not.
Apart from a few select items. (which I covered with ins, etc.) I never spend
much over $20US.
You buying cheap. you accept the consequences. Good and bad.
Mostly. It’s worth it.
If something goes wrong with your order, watch out!
I had to drag them through the entire PayPal claim process a few months ago for an order that went completely missing in transit. Gearbest just kept stalling in an attempt to run down the PayPal clock.
PayPal came through for me and I got my refund in full. Thank you, PayPal!
My advice: when using Gearbest, always pay with PayPal.
I have been using Gearbest.com for about 30 orders within a 1 year period (mostly flashlights, electronics). So far, all items came through even though shipping time was not always acceptable. I can live with 2-3 weeks but about 3 items came in after 1 month.
Overall, I recommend Gearbest for flashlight related purchases. The only challenge would be that many items no longer offer free shipping.

May I know your order number?

That seems plausible, as I also got a few years of good service and response until a few months ago when support just stopped responding to my tickets and requests for updates. If they want to blacklist someone fine, but communicate it first, don’t just go dead silent. I stopped placing any orders with them at that point.
