ENEDED

It arrived this week. I really like it! It’s a bit heavy but with the 3 straps it sits fine on your head, also for night jogging I think it will be acceptable.
The parasitic drain stopped me from using the NU30. On the HC65 you can physically lock out the battery, so no more parasitic drain! Best headlight I’ve got :+1:

Arrived today 6 days after ordering- brilliant.
Very pleased, it is well made, bright and versatile.
Thanks Freeme

You might consider adding a counter weight on the back?

It is currently my favorite 1000lm class headlamp too. Mode changing might require a bit of memory work though. Haha.

Thanks freeme!

my daughter is thru-hiking the CDT (continental divide trail). she has already thru-hiked the ATC (Appalachian trail) and the PCT (Pacific crest trail). these are the pre-eminent long-distance hiking trails in the USA, 3,100 miles, 2,200 miles, and 2600 miles approx. in length. she, btw, is a neuro research scientist. I gave her the hc65 and she used it for the last half of the PCT and, so far, 1,600 miles of the CDT and she flatly loves it. sure, it is a bit heavy, BUT, when she is night hiking and needs a bright light, she has it. it gets a lot of attention from other hikers. +1
