I hadn’t heard of this before either, but wikipedia has some info. It seems to be a song which played on BBC radio in the 1950s and 1960s. It lists this for lyrics:
Despite being 1/4 Welsh (my middle name is Wynne) to my shame I don’t speak the lingo. The UK is really quite a diverse country with several languages. English being the common denominator, which helps.
Swearing and cursing is fairly universal though, even if we don’t quite understand each other the meaning gets across…
Well, I know of a few stand-up comedians across the big pond. If you could filter out all the rude words from their shows, you would be looking for a stand-in comedian to fill the time after the break.

It is well known that satire is not understood by everyone, and on the internet you are in fact talking to everyone. So part of your communication arsenal, however fun and harmless, may better be reserved for one’s own friends/part of the world. Or else live with a couple of rude points every now and then
