It’s father’s day this weekend, always a good excuse to spoil yourself, and if you don’t have any kids and she calls you out on that, tell her “well none that you know of……”
From Amazon? Yeh. Had that once. Showed it was shipped, Amazon was throwing errors that the tracking number wasn’t on the system, contacted the seller, said to just give it a while.
It arrived, no problem. I missed being able to track it every step of the way, but it made it.
Figured even if it got lost or something, make a big enough stink and it’d still be covered. No tracking is Amazon’s glitch, not mine, so I shouldn’t have to take the hit.
But yeah, the number off the package did track just fine, showing all the steps. Just that no one recorded ir or something.
I’ve had that issue with Amazon too. This is a little different. I tried posting a picture but apparently it’s freaking impossible on this forum or it requires a form of black magic I’m unfamiliar with. I’ve tried IMG tags, direct links, nothing works. Anyways, the message I got says this.
“Your package was shipped Friday, June 15. This order was purchased from and shipped by a third-party seller, Sofirn. They did not provide tracking details for your package. Please contact them if you need further information.”
That happen to me to. I am signed up with the USPS Informed Delivery. I got the tracking number from there and was able to track it to my house. If you get a lot of packages through USPS it’s kinda neat to have. They will send you text messages to your phone or just emails letting you know every step of your deliveries. It even takes pictures of the mail you are getting that day and emails it to you every morning. They have a smart phone app too I think. I have never used the app so I can’t speak to that.
I do love my SF36! So… I decided to give it an illuminated tailcap today. 3 blue LEDs and 3 white. No bleeder resistor needed; it functions perfectly without it. (it’s cousin, the VG-10S also underwent there same treatment)
It’s like my current avatar. It’s a PD68 Rev5.3 top board, dual channel. I kept the same switch board that was already in the light (it’s a small omten 1288 style)
I've had quite a few Amazon items delivered by USPS. It might have something to do with living within 15 miles of two Amazon fulfillment facilities. And, UPS has an air hub here too.
