[Unboxing] MATEMINCO MT35 Plus(Astrolux MF04) only pics

Just received my Mateminco MT35 Plus in the mail 2 days ago, took 6 wks from order time. Have not had a chance to play with it yet, with working and helping Wife babysitting Grandchildren all week.

Not sure why Alibaba is making these, guess they will be in a contract with Astrolux to build the MF04. You guys are experienced with China and hoping you can shead some light on the process.

Here is a link for more info and pics by a “Mr. Mak” ( I’m guessing ). You will need to translate the language.

Note: You can run 2 flashlight heads together at the same time, see the pics in the link.

I believe Alibaba is just a storefront made up of many different suppliers. Something like that. They don’t actually make anything.

Mateminco is the company making the lights and they sell them in China as the Mateminco brand or sell them internationaly as Astrolux through Banggood. Astrolux is Banggoods house brand.

The latest MF02 seem to be pulling 2.5A to 3A at the emitter. I guess it was recently bumped up to this. I don’t think you can get any more out of the xhp35-HI. 3A might even be too much. I think this is about 2,000 to 2,200 otf. Somewhere around there.

I would expect the MF04 to match this. It can’t be any higher and I doubt they would dial it lower.

So that’s about 27% to 33% less than 3,000 lumen. So yes, about 30% less.

If you look at the ads for the MT35 Plus, you will see they list it at 2700 lumen. That’s still exaggerated. Actual output should be about 18% to 26% less for that advertised spec.

Still, we won’t know for sure until it’s actually measured.

Hey jason, i measured 1930 lumen with my TA lumen tube… i used sony vtc6.

1970 with sony vtc5d…

Cool, that’s about 35% less than their 3,000 lumen rating. Is yours CW or NW? Usually the CW will read a bit higher than NW.

MT70 Plus looks great!

As for my Mateminco, it is a great performer. Handles its heat well. I get over 2,300 at start and it holds it well.

Maybe the Astrolux X model can be the MF06.

Do you have any info on what driver the 70.2 light is using? Maybe use a 6v led and a FET driver?

That looks a lot like their version 2 boost driver from the MF01. I see just a few small changes.

Do you think it’s 6 volt in and 12 volt out?

You are right, It’s a 12V driver.

This makes sense as the MF01 v2 driver is 21v out and can do 12000 lumen or so. So its more than powerful enough for a single xhp70.2. I’m sure this driver can do 12v at about 5A to 6A. So it’s maybe over 6,000 lumen? It gives steady output as well.
