How did you get 30%? T bin is 970-1040 lm. Here we have 867.8. So the difference should be ~16%?

They all have same MZ core (4x4.2mm,4x Z ES chips), M and MX have full dome and white ceramic 7070 frame, footprint is the same for all leds, MX is basically updated flux bins Luxeon M, I don't see other differences.

Lower max soldering temperature, higher max current, higher Vf. Though slight differences may not actually mean a different product…
I had troubles reading the pad specs…thermal pad is the same. Good for compatibility, bad for performance. Wink

Anyway, if that’s the case, dedomed MX should reach about XHP35 HI luminosity. Maybe even higher.

5700K 90CRI has 770lm typ. @85C, T bin has ~1005lm typ. @85C -> 1005lm/770lm=30% higher

Thermal pad is big enough anyway, performance gain with bigger pad would be hard to see (I'm not saying that 7070 pad would be bad,but Philips did this for compatibility reasons).

Currently probability of finding higher flux QW(3V bin) of MX is second to none, for small quantities at least. There is higher chance of getting 3V M but just in 3000K and maybe 4000. I made few quotes on taobao asking for availability of LXR7-QW57/QW65 versions of M and they are out of stock everywhere.
I will keep searching for them but meanwhile if someone find reasonable source I would greatly appreciate sharing it with me and others Smile

Important notice:

 

I updated the luminance values for all LEDs shown in test chart except Luxeon MZ (due to irregular light distribution)!

To ensure more realistic values for 'real-life' conditions (flashlight use / secondary optics) I established a new testing method to determine the luminance with a SMO reflector. All upcoming and already existing tests will use this method!

Updating of my other tests will be done in the next hours / days.

Any idea to make this without too much effort? For all emitter tests it would be way too much work to make this...

The manufacturer Lumileds doesn't provide any data regarding changing Vf at rising temperature Tj, so these data are very new for all of us.

Quite good output thermal stability, with ≈91.92% (728/792 lumens) relative light flux at 145°C (+60°C) and ≈103.283% (818/792 lumens) at 25° (−60°C). Thumbs Up

You surely have something you generate the charts from….spreadsheet(s)? csv? Something else?
For me just dumping it directly would work. It doesn’t need to be nice and clean and easy to work with.

Yes. Though when it comes to raw data I’m more interested in output / Vf vs. current. So I can convert them to lm/W vs. luminance charts.
