Price? We donā€™t even know basics such as lumen output or beam range at this point ,with 6 days left in June, yet this light is supposed to be released in June? Yeah, right. I remember it was originally supposed to be released last December. None of these dates are believable at this point. :frowning:

Iā€™m sure they can do whatever lumen output seems reasonable. Their bigger boost drivers can deliver 2.7A at 12v from 6v in the MF02 and MF04. This boost driver is a bit different being 3v to 12v and smaller.
Would you like to see 2.7A? In a small light like this, over heating can be an issue.
Would you prefer 2A?

Maybe we should do a poll and see what people want?

Maybe it will result in something Astrolux can produce?

Ps, I donā€™t remember them saying they wanted a December release. Maybe I forgot. Companies tend to prioritize things based on their competition so itā€™s normal for projects to get delayed or canceled. Itā€™s just normal business to me.

When freeme started this thread back in November, he put a December release date on there. He has since pushed that date multiple times. I realize projects get delayed. I would have just put the date as TBD until I knew for sure when it would get released. Slipping dates makes the company look bad and causes loss of credibility. I realize we are talking about hobby flashlights and not life saving medical devices here, but still.

Interested, 2 please, depending in final specs :money_mouth_face:

I think I already posted my Interest but just in caseā€¦ Interested!

Any more detail of this light ?

Iā€™m interested. Is this supposed to be like a Mini version of the MF04 like the Mini GT is a mini of the BLF GT? If that is the case, this better throw farther than the Mini GT and Emisar D1S that uses 18650 batteries. Hopefully, this performs better than the Thrunite Catapult V6 too.

No, itā€™s not like itā€™s a miniature MF04. I think the name they decided on is misleading.

Anyway, this is a unique light. Using a boost driver and xhp35-HI. 21700 battery. I see they mention an xhp50.2 version as well.

There is not a lot known at the moment. No lumen specs, no candela numbers. I think it does have the potential to out throw the GT Mini and D1S, though. Who knows if it will.

In theory this MF04s will have a bigger hotspot than GT MINI.

Are the dimensions of the flashlight posted somewhere? Want to compare this to the Mini GTā€¦
