$35 for a titanium host is a steal of a deal… if you dont like the aspheric, install a flat lens and call it a quad mule

or, sign up for the new Titanium HDS Rotary, for $1,000, and forget about floody beams

In the OP it is mentioned that the leds are connected in 4S, while the picture shows 4P. Is somewhere mentioned if the lens is plastic or glass?

I just got a year older last week, and my eyes are already playing tricks on me. PLASTIC; 3 modes; High @3A.

I missed it too freeme, thought they were in series.

So, laid out like this once again the question begs to be asked … why? The positive trace is so close to those screws that would short the entire thing out, why not just flip the emitters and put the positive in the center?

Manker/Astrolux got this so wrong in the quad when I sent the Quad X5 to Neal and they copied it, I believe I’ll withdraw from this light like I did that S41 a while back. Sorry.

When will it be available? And what is the final price? I saw it can be bought for $29.99 (Neals Deals).

Put me on the list.

In-terested. Quad Aspheric? Are there more details? What are the drive levels? What is the UI? I assume factory made in China from 6AL4V Ti? What is the price?

Please add me to the list. Thanks.

…which is the ideal combination: Ti for strength and bling, and and a lightweight alu head section for heat management (the copper in my Ti D4 spoils the weight, it is too heavy to carry in my pants). Estetically I would like to see the head section to be black anodised, in fact if that was the case I would be in for this torch.

This is very easy to fix. Quick “8” sweeps on a wet SiC powder will even the beam. Just don’t use sandpaper.
