[PART 2] Official BLF GT Group Buy thread. Closed, but Public sales open!

JasonWW Add me to the bag and cap list list. I received my BLF GT sometime late may, but havent received any of the accessories. I think the exact accessory list I had was 2 caps, 1 bag, 1 strap.

How long since ordering bag?

I ordered everything on may 4th.

Im another loose end,
my carryer´s from my first gt are still missing , have not heard from neal in a while.
The second GT came complete, should have orderd a second shorttube in hindsight.

When was the last time you tried to contact Neal? If it’s been 2 or 3 weeks, I would try to contact him again.

Maverick1947 is in brazil, it is very bad in their customs. so it is difficult to ship items to them. We are working on a options

The issues with the GT itself are in Lumintop’s court at this point, he is trying to get an update on those.

I have been waiting and waiting to finally receive the rest of my GT. But since Neal doesn’t seem to respond to me anymore, I finally decided to break the silence.
I was in the first group #113 (later #106) and paid for my GT in december. February 21st I received the handle-part, but no notifications on the head-part. But I thought, I’d patiently wait.

Then I sent message to Neal and got the tracking number for the package. When I checked it, I found out that it has been at my post office and had been returned to sender after sitting 3 weeks at the post office.
I never got any notifications for its arrival and don’t really know who to blame for that, after all there were some quite badly damaged packages going around at that point.

On April 28th Neal messaged to me that Lumintop will resend my package next month. After that there has been no response from him, despite my messages to him…

So JasonWW, I guess you can put me on the list, too… :frowning:

Is Neal still the person handling Group Buy issues?

Are you saying he has told Lumintop what customers need what parts, etc… and it’s up to Lumintop to get the items sent?

I hope you did sign up on the Outstanding Issues forms we had. You can’t stay too quiet or people might just assume you got your order and have happily disappeared (like most on this thread. Lol)

A batch of replacement lights (those declared lost) did get shipped the week of May 23rd. I don’t know if a replacement head would be included in that or not. I added you to my list.

I don’t know what Neal is currently working on outside of his other job, but he is probably no where near as busy now. Send him a PM or email, etc… at least once a week.

Correct, he informed lumintop of the issues since they are not really watching the thread anymore and it is up to them to take care of it at this point. Anyone that has any issues should most likely contact them directly from here on out.

This is big news. Is there anyone in particular handling these issues or does it go to Lumintops customer service people?

Do you know what email address customers can use?

Jason, put me on list to for1 missing set of bag and cap. I ordered 2 BLF and 2 Bag and Cap. Only got 1 bag and cap.

BTW, Neal has not responded and has been silent. Hopefully all is well.

Just got my GT… grinned like a kid in a candy store.

Don’t know if this is the best one, but my emails with lumintop dealing with customer service stuff have been at “marketing dot lumintop at gmail”

Dent is on lens ring.
Bottom part, where battery tube goes in is bent by 2mm. It is impossible to attach battery tube because of that.
It is impossible for me to use GT without replacing broken parts. It was broken, because of poor packaging by Lumintop.

Indeed, Neal has been having internet issues due to some recent changes the China government made and has been hard to get ahold of the last week or 2. Generally he can only talk for a few minutes at a time.

No word on the exact email address or anything like that. He simply said that lumintop will need to handle the rest of the issues, he is just a middleman at this point.

I am trying to get more info but like I said, it is hard.

This means that my bag wasn’t even shipped yet?

I think that it was shipped but there were customs issues or something. He was not real clear on it and it was hard to keep track of each order.

Yes, I remember. The thin Registered Mail box that got wet and soggy then was dropped.
