Olight i3T EOS

Any new news on the Olight i3T EOS release date yet? I see a couple of stores online getting their webpages ready, but none actually listing them for sale yet.

Olight I3T EOS Slim EDC Flashlight
Tiny But Mighty
Featuring a slim design and an exceptionally bright output, the Olight I3T EOS Dual Output LED Flashlight is the ultimate EDC illuminator! This compact torch measures just 3.5” long and comes with a handy two-way pocket clip, making it easy to carry in your pocket or bag wherever you go! Despite its small stature, the I3T EOS still packs a considerable punch, capable of emitting a 180 Lumen beam that can throw nearly 200 feet, more than enough for most everyday tasks. The handy little flashlight also comes with a secondary 5 Lumen output for when you need just a bit of brightness rather than the full force.

Ergonomic and Stylish
Every inch of the I3T EOS is designed to be as ergonomic as possible for optimal user experience. The powerful light operates on just one AAA battery (included), making it one of the brightest single AAA flashlights on the market and making replacement batteries extremely easy to find. The light’s pushbutton tailcap switch makes one-handed operation crisp and easy. The EDC flashlight’s body is crafted from machined aluminum alloy, making it incredibly impact and water resistant so it’s safe to use anywhere. The body even features a unique helix-like knurling that catches the eye and provides a comfortable and secure grip.

180 lumens ? wow i will get one asap!!!

180 lm is nothing special. Olight i3S CU brings equal output( for 3 min, then step down to 90 lm).

jaja okay, but it seems up on the russian website so we know how the package will look now. Cant be long left now so maybe it gets official next week?

recently received the test units, this is a really nice EDC light. although review text is ready but I do not have the green light to post the full review until they officially release it worldwide... rumor has it it's early July... compare to i3S-cu EOS (mine is brass), this new light has a better sustainable high mode runtime. Without going into full review details, I'll leave you with one of a few runtime charts (to be available in my review) a comparison of high mode between the said lights...

Good to know it’s about to be released

Thank you guys for providing early info about this light. From the cached text I’m not sure whether there are only two or multiple modes, also if there’s mode memory, but we’ll see.

The body looks a little better then those early prototype pics, but they also lost that blue bezel for some reason

I think it’s still there ; just not much visible in the picture posted above.

Blue bezel is gone.

I hereby name this thing the Olight Wood Screw

Later,
Keith

wow good catch i didnt notice… shame :frowning:

Olight just announced via their Facebook page it’s available now as of July 2nd on their main wesbite only. Better grab one while you can. I am sure they will be sold out before the end of the day.

yea i found it on amazon UK, will have it next week if all goes well.

No memory mode. [Not good}

No moonlight or firefly mode. [Not good]

Throw at lowest setting (5 Lumens) = 10 meters. [Not low enough]

Beam angle ~ 29°. [Not floody enough]

For my purposes this light is not suitable, so I'll have to pass on this one.

I had the same complaints but bought the lamp anyway, as I wanted to get a feel of it and send a signal to Olight that AAA clickies are appreciated.

I'll add that the sort of "spiral threading" on the body is pretty ugly (for me), ineffective in terms of grip and uncomfortable. However that isn't too much of an issue in practice given the clip provides excellent grip.

5 lumens is okay for me in practice, but I really have no use for the highest setting - too bright.

I can only say i would have liked a moonlight mode, rest is not much to care for, it will have a purpose low and high. i mean for 20 bucks this light is worth it.

Don’t know if it will help you, I did a huge comparison between the two modes (and autonomy, color temperature, beam…)
The 5 lumens mode is great, enough light to walk quickly in the darkness. With a moonlight mode, I’ve got some difficulty. But you are right, 5 lm is more than you need for some uses !

I’ve been using the i3T EOS for a while. Today it started flickering like a strobe on both modes! That’s correct, the battery (Ni-MH) was below 1V .
I also tried some almost drained AA Alkalines and the same behaviour is noticed.
Just wanted to say this as I don’t know if you have seen it on yours :+1:
