Restocked? ……Sold out?
How many have received lights or shipping information from the GB?
I thought I ordered @ the first batch(as soon as the coupon was active) but it has not shipped
Has anyone else that ordered after 6.19 received shipping info or were all the coupons ‘voided’?
For some reason I thought it was Paypal’s policy to require merchants to ship before acct is
charged but I could be wrong about that

I do not think anyone has received shipping info yet as they have not shipped yet.

I know I ordered on Jun 20, 2018… a few hours after this opened up. We knew up front they were trying to restock when we ordered. Due to circumstances things often take longer than expected.

Now on GB it says these are expected to “Ship between: Jul 09 - Jul 12”.

Maybe they will…. maybe they won’t. BUT… I’m betting they will as soon as GB receives them.

Did everyone read post 352??

As far as I am concerned…. this is a good thing!! Much better than having sub-par units sold & shipped out. Oh sure, it might & is causing a bit of a shipping delay as they wait for restocking of acceptable units……
BUT, in the big scheme of things; that is just the way it is.

And as we talked about last week, with GB & most others; payment has always been at time the order is placed. Not when shipping happens. :+1:

For some reason I thought some had shipped before the coupons were voided
but I thought the problem was the coupon had been revealed not a QC thing.
I agree, if there was a ‘problem’ with the first batch……… this is a good thing

Best I know Coscar, from what I have read; none shipped since this went live.

https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/51668/350 I have emphasized many time on QC checks before sale starts. I would rather wait a bit longer than receiving low grade light.

I believe that Freeme has bought them all and is trying to create a monopoly ..while driving up demand ...it's all a big conspiracy.

If I recall correctly..... he did the same thing with Beanie Babies and Fidget Spinners :P

Free me !!!

I totally agree, as I stated yesterday. . :+1: .

Hmmmmm………… maybe the shadow knows ………. I guess only time will tell

UPDATES: Shipping should restart in approximately 48hrs time (Jul 7, Sat). New stock arrival date is still unknown.

Im confused again….
If the “initial batch” of this GB was rejected………
How can shipping begin before the “New Stock” arrives?

edit: thanks JasonWW

I´m also interested in bying one with the new code

Thank´s

I don’t think the “first batch” got rejected, simply because a lot of these lights have already been sold. You can see reviews and videos of them online. So this rejected batch was probably the second or something like that. Sorry I don’t have any details. These are the mysteries of Chinese business practices. We will never understand. Lol

I mean they will start shipping for the first 100pcs this week (if nothing goes wrong). No news for second batch yet.

Sorry, maybe Im missing something, but if the Batch w/no ETA was supposed to replace the ones that were rejected……… where are these ‘first 100pcs’ coming from? It doesnt make sense……. to me anyway.

Don't get confused. If you have already placed your order, GearBest will ship the good set to you by this weekend.

/\ +1 Thx

Is it too late to be interested? Because I am.

Code please thank you !

New codes are not being sent out yet. No set date on when the deal will start up again.

With a little technomagic, this could be solved once and for all, if GB could get on-board.

Eg, have a base code of, say, “FreemeT1######”, with 6 alphanumerics in the #-field. One-time use, any quantity up to some maximum (eg, 4 or 5), first-come-first-served, up to the max of the group-buy.

FM gets a list of, say, 80 codes for up to 100 units (quite a few will order more than 1). JoeSchmo asks for a code, you c&p from the list to send to Joe. He can order up to 5 lights. He orders 2. “Doh! I want more!”, so he emails again, gets another code if any are still available (bottom of the list to be fair).

626 is a big number, so 80 out of that leaves lots of guesswork to get a valid code. Anyone tries “leaking” it, you can track back to the person who was assigned that code. Blacklisted!

Otherwise, any valid code goes through at GB, up to the 100 units available. You snooze, you lose.

Even 4 places for 624 possibilities is huuuuge, so a code might look like “FreemeT1A9g7”. Done.

I could write something in perl to generate N random codes with M possibilities in just a few minutes, so it’s not a big deal.
