Images were provided for Leo, Neal and here in that thread.
Leo responded once, wrote, that I can ship my head for repairs or they send me replacement parts to repair by myself.
Since shipping head back and forward will take ages and will cost me 60$ I replied Leo, that I can fix it by myself and asked him if he have my shipping address. Than no more emails from Leo. I sent 4 or 6 messages to him, no reply at all.
Than I contacted Neal, and he asked me that Lumintop can refund me some and I could use some tools to put battery tube into the head.
I replied, that refund is not an option since I had replacement parts/repair promised by Leo. Afterwards no more replies from Neal even after a few PM’s.
I’m really pissed now, I have light I can not use because of Lumintop fault.

Hmmm, I know the head is about 90% of the lights value so they probably don’t want to loose a bunch of money especially shipping to Poland. But a damaged item is still a damaged item. They need to make it right.
Maybe you can ask for the lower part of the head and a new bezel. That way they can use a smaller box, plus its lighter weight and they don’t loose the value of the upper head and reflector.
They may like the idea of sending an empty lower head where you have to swap the driver and mcpcb over to it, but that is asking a lot from you. Plus I don’t know if you are able to solder the wires on the mcpcb.
I emailed Leo and showed him the list of 11 people. I asked if he can contact all of you this coming week. You guys have been waiting way too long.
Yes, it should be Leo that is handling the GT at lumintop.
I know there have been some disagreements between Leo / Neal and higher management since the GT project came so close to loosing money and in the end made very very little.
I do agree though, these need to be taken care of quickly. I thought they were taken care of months ago.
What does not suit you Polish. Every time you write negatively about Poland. “do not send to Poland” “enter Poland into the list of countries to which parcels should not be sent”, etc. Do you have any problem with the Polish?
I am quite sure it has nothing to do with polish people.
I think he is simply citing that Polands mail system seems to be hard to deal with.
Although I think there were some outside influences in this case that he may be forgetting such as the fact that most of the Poland packages were wet.
Which would say that there was an abnormal weather condition of some kind somewhere along the journey, most likely in china, that made things way worse and led to most of the issues.
Never been to Poland myself but I know I sure love polish sausage.
Is that really from Poland or do we just call it that for some reason?
Pardon, I assume shipping to Poland is very expensive which is why they were shipped as two registered packages instead of one DHL box. I also assume its harder to get through customs.
The same as shipping to South Africa, Brasil, Egypt, etc… Certain countries are expensive and/or difficult to ship to.
Also, I have never said anything negative about Poland. Maybe you have me confused with someone else.
Last days I recived pack from Haikelite.
I ordered 3 MT09R and few other things ( size bigger than GT ).
They send my order by DHL and I didn’t pay anything for shipping.
DHL take care about customs, and only customer pay fees.
So I suppose that the biggest problem is not the price of shipping to Poland but resistant approach of Lumintop.
That is what I thing.
It was brought up before but they didn’t really bite.
It is possible they could make a rin to allow you to connect a short tube to the end of the normal tube but I am not sure if the total length will be correct to still press the carriers against the driver properly.
Does anyone know? I don’t have a short tube myself, I always thought they were silly on a light this size.
