Can I get a code for the C8+? I’ve been thinking of ordering one- seems like a good incentive to do it now!

Can you send me a code for c8+ freeme please for black model and ss bezel

C8+ ordered. Thanx freeme.

C8+ ordered, thanks!

Almost ordered an L2 but kept getting an error on the code.

Can I have code for c8+ and bezel please?

Does the C8 SS bezel have a code? Can I ask for it? Is there an SS bezel also for the L2?

Hope to include C8+ black version into this group buy by next week.

I like both, please send the codes to both!

C8+ ordered. Thanx freeme.

Convoy DIY 1288 Switch with LED Blue Light For Convoy C8 M1 M2 S2 S2+ Flashlight - $1.81 with coupon: 4BLF / Store Link

Can I get C8+ code, please?

L2 code please sir

The Convoy lighted switch description indicates that it’s not compatible with the new Biscotti firmware, yet the picture above shows a Convoy C8+ Oak Brown, which by default comes with Biscotti.

Since C8+ was my newest Convoy purchase, it was pretty obvious choice for me to try them. Blue version works fine with my C8+ that was why i didn't realize the compatibility issue as stated on the site. Switch was too cheap, and i wasn't paying much attention before getting them.

Anyway, this switch is mend for Convoy C8 M1 M2 S2 S2+ S4 S5 S6 S7 F12 models.

Freeme, does the blue led switch work with this C8?

Also, even though they say it won't work on the new Sand Color C8, you've found no problems with it?

Not compatible with the new Biscotti firmware.

I have both orange and blue switches. Orange one stuck in single mode. It would basically turn your light into a twisty if you wish to switch mode. As for blue, i am able to go into mode selection menu, No measurement taken but I guess it is fine.

C8+ code please ty

Thanks, never knew my clear C8 had Biscotti. Oh well, ordered 4 of those blue leds, will find some use for them eventually. I have a cheap C8 as well, might work on that one.

Ok, this is from my experience, actually I’ve bought several of the blue Convoy lighted switches already (if purchased as a “bundle add-on” to certain models of Convoy flashlights in Gearbest, it’s priced very cheaply).

In my test of those blue Convoy (Omten 1288) lighted tailswitches used with Convoy Biscotti flashlights, others get stuck in one mode, as freeme mentioned, but there are a few (probably about half of those I tested) that appear to work, although “long-press” doesn’t get recognized. I tested the switches on the BLF A6 firmware (specifically Astrolux C8) which has similar behavior (some won’t work), but the few that work, the “long-press” will only register as “short-press” (so that it won’t be possible to get into the special strobe modes, which are accessed via a long-press — and any long press is the same as a short-press when used with the lighted tailswitch).

I believe for the lighted tailswitch that work with Biscotti, the “long-press” also doesn’t work, but long-press in Biscotti has only 1 function from what I know, which is: from any mode, a “long-press” will go to Moon mode. Now it will not have that function.

Actually I did test that lighted tailswitch with other flashlights, like Sofirn C8A, and those that work seem to work fine, while those tailswitches that don’t work, also don’t work properly on the Sofirn C8A.

I’m not sure what causes some of those lighted tailswitch to not work on the more advanced firmwares, but all of them will work properly with the “old Convoy firmware with 5/3-mode groups”.

I don’t see the orange lighted tailswitch available in GB. I only notice it’s recently available in Convoy AliExpress. Or is the orange tailswitch version also available in GB somewhere?

d_t_a, thanks for that detailed info! Glad I ordered them then. I really don't use the long press so will give it a try in my clear C8 and see how it goes.

Any idea how long before the blue led will drain a battery?
