The BLF GT70 "Giggle Monster" is here! 7,500lumens, 1,500m throw! Group buy Closed!

Neutral White conversion kit, heck yes!

Will the neutral tint be closer to 5000k-5500k instead of the warmer end of the spectrum? While I love the 4000k tint of the stock xhp35 I think I’d enjoy a cooler neutral tint on the xhp70.2

I just checked and do not see a response from your user name, so it does not look like it went through. So only real option is to try again.

Strange that you are having issues even on chrome.

The goal is 3D and 1A but we will have to see what they can find before we will know for sure.

lol, my first computer was an 8088 actually which was later upgraded with a whopping 20mb hard drive! I know, I was a baller. :cowboy_hat_face:

I am sending you a PM.

I totally agree. :+1: Something that adds as little tint to True Neutral White as possible.

TA… I’m confused. Is that 1A a typo? This was about NW, was the 1A you typed supposed to be 3A??

Thanks, just curious & a bit confused.

Not a typeo, just not well worded.

We are looking for both a 3D and 1A tint in a perfect world so people can choose between NW and CW.

In the real world we are at the mercy of what is available in a P2 bin and a reasonable tint. We will see how close we can get to the goal.

Hopefully I will get an update next week.

Oh OK…. :+1: … The 1A is the goal for the CW (Cool White).
That was why I was confused. I though you were just answering the Neutral White question td1042k asked……

Thanks, I just resubmitted using Chrome again and this time got an immediate online confirmation I don’t remember seeing last time, followed-up by an email slot reservation confirmation as expected. I must have just got too excited and screwed something up on the first try.

Question - Possible to purchase only XHP70.2 + LED + Centering Ring + TA Driver Giggle Monster Conversion Kit? Already have BLF GT and spare single carrier tube.

Yes, there is a “kit” for $55. I’m not sure how you missed it.

Ok i signed up for one of these lights.Everything seemed to go smooth. Thanks for creating these awesome works of art.

Hi

I’m in for a conversion kit.i just filled the informations.

It is very good to see a “mass” upgrade kit as many people like to mod their lights.

Very good job from the giggle team.

Incredible forum.

Keep going

OK put me down for single kit in NW. Filled out form, thanks.

Update soon to come......

Looking at the list in the video above,I saw some huge numbers in the last line.Is it possible to duplicate these numbers in the new GT 70.2 light for which we talk?Because 600Kcd is something, but 1,380,880 is something else…

No, I would go with what TA measured on the actual light which is about 500kcd dome on and maybe 780kcd dome off.

It’s possible a CW emitter will bump up both numbers, but I’m not sure TA has measured this combo yet. If he has tested it, I’m sure he will mention that later. (He might take a day off on Sunday)

Submitted for one conversion kit in CW
Thanks guys.

Ps: Is there any plans for multi emitter GT with 4-5 xhp70.2?

It was either TA or DB Custom (one of these Texas outlaws) that was planning to make a 4 emitter version using 4 C8 reflectors. I have not heard anything about it recently, though.

Requesting 1 GT70, batteries (price dependent), & 2 lenses. I assume GT70 is delivered with battery carriers installed & extra carriers would not be needed to make light functional? Thanks team.

I haven’t heard the official price on the batteries as it’s still early days, but they should be about the same price as the 35E from the GT group buy which is $40 for 8 button top 30Q. Later on I’m sure we will get more exact info.

Yes, the GT70 comes with two battery carriers and the long battery tube. If the batteries are bought at the same time as the light (and they need to be) they will ship inside the light. If they are bought seperately they may not be able to be shipped to the USA. This is a newer development. It used to be easy for Lumintop to ship batteries seperate, but not any more.
