The BLF GT70 "Giggle Monster" is here! 7,500lumens, 1,500m throw! Group buy Closed!

Yep, just select the conversion kit in the form. It is $55

Kind of.

Technically this light will be the same as the video you saw minus the exact LED used. So it could in theory give you the same type of numbers if you de-domed the LED.

I have not tested a P2 emitter dedomed yet so I am not sure what it will do, the 750-800kcd is a conservative guess because it is always easy to raise the numbers later but very hard to lower them.

This applies to all the official ratings right now, they are all quite conservative compared to what I have personally measured even.

Until we find the production LED it is just impossible to know for sure what the numbers will be.

All of that said, if you swapped the LED for the same one VOB used (think he got it from kaidomain.com), then it would be exactly the same as his light.

“Everything is bigger in Texas” - Texans

Lets just say that applies here. :innocent: :innocent: :innocent:

Great, if you upload this to the FTP login I sent you I will update the OP with it.

Also so everyone knows HazG is taking care of all the charts for the OP. Thansk a lot for that!

On the list for 1 conversion kit. Just posting to confirm, thanks guys.

Edited my form - now in for 2 upgrade kits.

form completed for 1 kit , thanks

At this pace we will need battery tube couplers in no time. Especially if there are real plans to make a GT with four or five xhp70.2s :smiling_imp: Will there be a poll how many emitters will be used in the next BLF GT project? :smiling_imp:

If you guys are talking about 5 xhp70.2 and 12 cells, then i am in… lol.

Why limit yourself to 12 cells if you can have 16 cells ? Multiple xhp70.2s are hungry

All I can say is that a “more extreme” light is in the works. Far to early for anything more then that at this point.

16 cells? Definitely should get super long runtime.

Lumintop could easily manufacture an extension… I don’t think it will cost much…

why limit to 18650 only, how about 21700 or even 26650? tube size may be bigger, so is the capacity.

Because 18650 battery carriers are already designed… less work…

I actually saw one guy from blf was going to design an extension for the blf gt… I don’t know what happened…

Yep… :+1: And at this point in time 18650 is far more popular than 26650 which is far more popular than 21700.
That may or may not change in years to come… time will tell.
