Technically this light will be the same as the video you saw minus the exact LED used. So it could in theory give you the same type of numbers if you de-domed the LED.
I have not tested a P2 emitter dedomed yet so I am not sure what it will do, the 750-800kcd is a conservative guess because it is always easy to raise the numbers later but very hard to lower them.
This applies to all the official ratings right now, they are all quite conservative compared to what I have personally measured even.
Until we find the production LED it is just impossible to know for sure what the numbers will be.
All of that said, if you swapped the LED for the same one VOB used (think he got it from kaidomain.com), then it would be exactly the same as his light.
At this pace we will need battery tube couplers in no time. Especially if there are real plans to make a GT with four or five xhp70.2s :smiling_imp: Will there be a poll how many emitters will be used in the next BLF GT project? :smiling_imp:
Yep… :+1: And at this point in time 18650 is far more popular than 26650 which is far more popular than 21700.
That may or may not change in years to come… time will tell.
