FW3A, a TLF/BLF EDC flashlight - SST-20 available, coupon codes public

Quick question, will this light have a beacon function (a single flash a couple of second apart)?

Beacon: Blink once every N seconds at the last-ramped level. N is configurable.

Yes is the short answer, but you can see the rest of the functions there.

Nice!

Thanks for the confirmation and info :+1:

Please count me in for 1, can’t beat the price and what you get.

Late to the party but put me on the list for one please.

In for one

I’m also in for one

After 14 months this group buy must be one of the slowest BLF has ever had.
While I am definitely looking forward to it, I think it’ll still be my second choice after the D4. Maybe third choice after the D4 is rereleased in 26650 format…

It has definitely been frustratingly slow. I think it’s pretty close, but at the moment I think it’s hung up on some miscommunication about thermal regulation. I’ve been trying to resolve that for a few weeks, but too much gets lost in translation. It feels like when Ford Prefect wrote an entire detailed guide about how to enjoy planet Earth, and the editor shortened his work to just two words — mostly harmless. It’d be a lot easier if I could talk directly to the engineers at Lumintop instead of going through a communication gatekeeper.

^ It’s still an improvement. It used to just say “harmless,” which arguably is not quite an accurate description of lights like these.

Lumintop people are pretty active on facebook and their english seems ok. Why is it a problem? Have you brought it up to them?

It seems that its been very slow but it looks great. Appreciate the update TK, I love your UIs!

Just taking a guess at it… the one’s active on FaceBook are most likely also the “communication gatekeepers” TK is talking about.

It may be slow, but I agree…. it is looking good!! :+1: .

In for one!

I am in for one!

OK, I'm obviously an idiot.

I'd rather have only two (2). However, if that will cause any problems, I will buy four.

Thanks.

I’m in for one.

In for 3 please.

You are not under any obligation to buy anything. We are just trying to get an accurate count for the group buy.

Thanks, make it two (2), please.

No problem.
