Difficult to think of any offhand, but it’s a good rule.

Beam me up!

Very nice collection AWTACT and very nice of you to think about giving some of it away.  An easy rule would be that anyone can join as long as they have 30 or more posts.  It means they have been around for a little while and may have contributed in some way to BLF.

These are few thousand dollars worth of lights. Wouldn't it be more meaningful if you sell them and donate to charity? innocent

I think a better way is ask what flashlight on your collection they wanted and why.

The flashlight with the handle looks very attractive to me. Never owned one before. Hope to win it on this giveaway.

I would definitely love to have it all but that would be to selfish and it is not a very good attitude. If i’m lucky enough I would love to have that big light with the handle. I love lights that has multiple cells for longer runtimes. I do hope that it is a single emitter. You are a very generous guy. Imagine 40 people will be very happy that they will have another light on their collection. I wish your future business to be prosperous and successful. Thank you for the opportunity.

This is a very great idea to introduce a new flashlight manufacturer to the game. Thank you and I wish you all the luck on your future endeavors.

What a wonderful idea, I like the looks of these lights and would say for rules:
- anyone who has joined BLF BEFORE the gaw starts
- anyone who has had meaningful posts in their history
- anyone who is willing to do a review of the light they receive (impartial review)

Ok, here’s an idea……… and it could double the number of giveaway lights!
Do a normal ‘I’m in’ rule but only one entry per person and been member since ‘XX date’. Pick 2 numbers every 2 days from the list via random.org and the winner of your light has to ( not compulsory) buy a cheap (under $5, could be $0.46!) light from Gearbest/Banggood/ebay etc to send to the second place person.
If there are any duplicate winners just do it again, only 1 win per person.
There’s plenty of cheap lights on those sites, and it would make the postage free (in most cases) .
Banggood low price rising
Gearbest low price rising

Obviously the second place person (winner of cheap light) could stay in the main draw.
I’m sure 99% of us could afford under $5 (cheapest I could find was $0.46 keychain) and if they couldn’t, well, it’s not compulsory Innocent . Of course this would be done on trust, but we are all genuine on here right?
Just an idea! Thumbs Up
Either way, thank you for offering such a massive giveaway – generous doesn’t even come close!

My suggestion would be to include only real aficionados, or members who:

- joined BLF before 2018
- have more than a 100 posts
- have strained relationships
- also recognise some of the lesser known lights you show us like Joshua Portinga’s Firefly 2.0

Which (BTW) I would not mind receiving in a GAW Wink

I always think long and hard before I say something really stupid.

I like your idea the best but would add "under $5.00 or over if one chooses" as a sort of mystery as what the 2nd place draw gets.  Could be a lot of fun.

so it’s just for old members that knew blf. How about us the new members that we just got into the band wagon?

I like the idea that the person who wins must do a giveaway too That way your 40+ light giveaway turns into an 80 light giveaway . I like random easy giveaways that you use a random generator to pick winners . you could give away a light a day for 40 days . Some nice looking lights …. it’s clear you’re a flashaholic . Welcome to BLF

I also think a quick series of random draw giveaways by people who joined before the giveaway and simply saying “I’m in.”

That is a very nice collection. This must be one of the few collections I have seen that doesn’t have a C8 in it.
