A word of warning when ordering emitters from Kaidomain. This isn’t the first time I ordered CRI80 emitters but got CRI70 ones. This time it was the XP-L2, last time XHP35 HI. If you don’t have the tools, it’s probably impossible to tell you’ve been bamboozled.
Last time when I complained they said sorry and told me to make a note next time so they could verify the CRI when I ordered. Wiser this time around I did leave a note to get what I paid for. No such luck.
After the site revamp, I can’t see any CRI80 mentioned in the description, but the URL and the image of the packaging still denotes CRI80 (XPLBWT-00-0000-000HV40E3)

so a layman LED enthusiast has no way of recognizing the order? Aren’t there authentic labels? Or stickers, holograms or something on the packaging of LEDs?
This of course may have something to do with BanL's provider/partner, AliExpress' LHT Flashlight Store.

By the way, plenty of XP-L2 emitters at Mouser. Shipping and handling starts from €20 (for my location), though. 
When will you be able to process payments thru Pay Pal. As of now I get an error message when processing thru Pay Pal?

so my account won’t work, I will sign up again. Do we all have to?
The problem lays with the supplier they some times don’t know or lie about the tint and CRI and some times even get the binning wrong. You would have to buy whole reels from the supplier (Cree) to get the info correct.
I don’t think Ban has a way to test CRI?
I really want my old data. I haven’t labeled some of o-rings and other items since received them months ago.
