12V High CRI light bulbs.

I’m looking for some 12V light bulbs but I can’t find any, only spotlights or ac bulbs. Id like to connect em straight to my solar setup without any driver or converter. Does anybody have source for these? Must be high cri, warm white (2700/4000K) and efficient.

Thanks for starting this thread. I have also been looking for such 12V bulbs but no success. Hopefully somebody will give us some guidance.

Philips 20-Watt Equivalent G4 2 Watt LED is 3000K and has a CRI of 80. Which I find to be fairly acceptable for general outdoor lighting.

Hey thanks, I was thinking more in the lines of a screw-in lightbulb with a dome. I like the yuji lightbulbs with a very high cri >90, don’t know the exact number. But they are 240V.
Something like that philips bulb might do the trick I don’t know if they have much glare or so. But I really want 90+ cri otherwise I might just as well keep using my flashlights.

finding no options for this type of bulb i simply tore down some ge brite stick led bulbs.
took out its driver and emitter plate and replaced with a 12v 10w driver and a triple nichia 219 setup.
put the star and plate to the shell with jb kwik 5 minute steel filled epoxy for heat transfer.
this works well.
better mark them well incase another family member thinks its a regular led bulb and lets the smoke out.

I have MR16 Soraa 12v Lights for you.

Those could be adapted to a screw base easily.
Good quality too.
Wouldnt mind having some myself

Thanks for the offer but I am really looking for a bulb so the light goes 360*, seems they are impossible to find in high cri. Spotlights are easy to find.

What if a long LED strip shaped into a ball?

I know a few LED strips in Aliexpress with high CRI

nope not what I’m looking for. I really think it’s weird that there are no 12V Led bulbs being produced. Maybe I ’m not using the right keywords or something.
yuji lightbulbs use a remote phosphor dome, so the light is dispersed all around. I need some like that but in 12V.
