When testing the flashlight I found a new feature. When the flashlight is on in standard mode, the triple click jump to Turbo mode. The next one click is to return to the previous mode. There is no function in this manual.
Just tried that and works a treat, thanks for the heads up.
There is an error in the manual:
It’s not true.
A long push when the light is on is off. We will get into Turbo mode by long press from off. Here are two more modes. Long pushing and holding for about one second means activating the Turbo only when the button is pressed. When the switch is released, the lamp turns off. If we hold the switch for more than one second, the torch is permanently activated into Turbo mode. Until the next press, when it turns off.
Not got mine yet. I got a waybill tracking number which does not tell me anything useful and this was emailed to me on the 9th. Bruce at Wuben says that my light was mailed the week before the 9th. I am just wondering how quickly other people got theirs delivered?
My flashlight was sent on 7 July from HONG KONG. Delivered July 9. Very fast!
Mine took about 4-5 days was delivered via DHL.

I got a text this morning from DHL. The package was picked up in Singapore today for delivery on Wednesday. Phew

Mine just arrived today. Only had a chance to play with it for a few minutes. It’s charging now. As is the case with all the Wuben lights I have, this thing is extremely well made. Everything is for all intents and purposes perfect. Machining, anodizing, lens and reflector are flawless as near as I can tell. I got the NW version and the tint is very nice too. Everything about the light says quality. Tailcap threads are smooth as butter and perfectly lubed. Double spring in the tailcap, main one is very BEEFY. I’ll probably have to get another one of these lights, just because!

I’m really starting to like the 21700 form factor of this light. It’s kind of a sweet spot between 18650 and 26650. I’ve always been a big fan of 26650 lights. But after using this a little bit I’m starting to see some advantages to the smaller size. It’s smaller and therefore lighter, but still feels substantial, but not big by any means, whereas now in comparison a 26650 light feels kinda big and bulky. And if you believe the battery specs, you don’t lose a ridiculous amount of battery life with the smaller cell. I’m loving my new toy!
Brief play with mine last night until I got told to stop very bright and I did not realise that it had ramping! Shows how much attention I pay. I have three other 21700 batteries and they all fit and work. It does get very hot on full power.
Good build quality and a nice switch. I have only taken out the flashlight from the box as I have a usb-C cable in my charger. I like the NW tint.
Got to play with the ramping for the first time last night. It’s a little on the slow side, but in return you get almost infinite increments of brightness. There are no discernible “steps” while ramping. It’s a really smooth transition from dim to bright and vice versa. So I can live with it being a little slow if the result is such smooth ramping. One more thing to like about this great little light.
