KD (kaidomain): Deals and new products thread

so my account won’t work, I will sign up again. Do we all have to?

The problem lays with the supplier they some times don’t know or lie about the tint and CRI and some times even get the binning wrong. You would have to buy whole reels from the supplier (Cree) to get the info correct.

I don’t think Ban has a way to test CRI?

I really want my old data. I haven’t labeled some of o-rings and other items since received them months ago. :stuck_out_tongue:

Hi desmondkun

Please don’t worry.

I will integrate those data in the old platform to the new platform in the coming days.

If you want to get those data in now, you can send to our customer support email sales@kaidomain.com

Our colleague will help to list our your ordered item.

Thank you

Ban

Roger that.

@BanL - Please bring ‘New Arrivals’ view back to main page like it was before change.
This was the best way to see what’s new in your store (especially some rare LED emitters)

PS. this is how I see your last move

New arrivals section was what made me buy some new stuff too…
Bring it back BanL

Let me bring some wisdom here:

¿Why shut down a perfectly working website and change it with something completely untested? Bad move. The new website could somehow have been uploaded inside a branch address into the old one for testing. Customers could have been encouraged to see the “future” website from there and functions could have been tested and refined.

The next has a lot to do with my own self and the way I perceive things, but still is of service:

¿Why this @#$% fashion of trying to make websites which look and work good both on mobiles and desktops? Bad move. I have not seen a single website which underwent this integration and I have loved, not a single one. All of them sin with big bars, banners and massive zoomed in content which turn it out completely undesirable to me. I could see dozens of items in my screen before and lay out all of them in the same page. Now this is what I see:

Horrendous! This is a screenshot from my pocket mobile device which is tuned to make those services who ask (like websites through the browser) think my screen size is a massive 6.61" (actual size: 5.2"). Yes, I use my mobile phone as much as I can as a desktop, no jokes.

Did G00gl€ brainwashed you? I hate G00gl€'s bullying perspective with passion.

Cheers :-)

+1

Finally:

WW SST20 !

I did see that too. But I was really hoping for one of the 90+ CRI versions that are in the SST-20 datasheet.

Edit: ah, I see, it is indeed the 95CRI version: SST-20-W30H-A120
Ordering some now

The listing says J3-HD2 W30H, H being 95 CRI in the datasheet

Check the flux bin tho.

J3. 520lm at 3000mA.

It helps if you post that number comparing it with another led: the Cool white SST-20 that KD sells is L2 bin (1 after highest bin), which is 811 lumen@3A, so this L3 bin (1 after highest bin) ultra-high CRI 3000K version costs you 36% output compared to the low CRI cool version. This is very common.

Simple, make a triple : 245lm per LED (1A each) and you get 745 LED lumens

Yes, but isn’t the absolute number rather poor by the standards of some other, warmish, ultra-high CRI emitters? For example, in Texas_Ace’s test a D240 4000K 9050 (over) driven at 3A has about 800lm output.

Wouldn’t using a triple to achieve higher output and efficiency offset the SST-20s advantages with respect to luminous intensity?

(I’m still ordering 5 of these)

Still unable to login. Is it just me?
