I just purchased 2 X Golisi 26650 4300mAh batteries from 3avape. They were discounted from $7.50 each to $6. Plus $6.58 for shipping.
A total of $18.58 for the Two batteries!
No other place that I searched came close to their price.
3avape- 2 X $6 Plus $6.58 shipping totaling $18.58
Banggood- 2 X $10.69 Plus $4 shipping totaling $25
Aliexpress- 2 X $11.50 Plus $3 shipping totaling $26
There is not that much difference between Ijoy/Golisi/Shockli[almost got 2 x Shockli 4300mAh for $19.02 Total].
When I look at HKJ’s comparator and see which one has the least voltage sag, regardless of how minimal, I get that one! I am NOT concerned about run time as I put a fresh cell in after 15 to 20 minutes.
ANYONE on here have experience with 3avape? I am concerned that the batteries may NOT be legitimate considering how little that I paid for them.Then again maybe a super low sale price?
I could have simply trekked the 1.5 miles to Liionwholesale[my hometown dealer] and got 2 X Ijoy for a few dollars more,knowing that they are legitimate!
The store looks pretty standard to me, and they abide to a 3 month warranty. This should mean full refund in case of a fake product, but better inquire them just in case.
The most important thing is getting the batteries and having them be authentic. I have to wait a week or so for that.
However, It did not start off well. They gave me an INVALID tracking number. I told them about it. They continue to deny it when DHL Confirmed that the number was Invalid!They still do not believe me and this is after I forwarded DHL’s email to me confirming an Invalid tracking number!
I have accepted that, that will not change,so I just move forward and wait without a tracking number!
You two seem to have quite the history - mostly (on here) with ‘nodoubt’ who seems to be quite aggressively picking on every ‘wolfdog1226’ post for some reason.
What ever happened on CPF I don’t know or for that matter care but I’d suggest it’s time to forget about it and move on and let bygones be bygones.
None of it makes pleasant reading for the rest of us.
I bought the batteries on July 2, 2018. They gave me tracking info. on July 6, 2018. For 2 or 3 days I tried and could not get any results.I called DHL. They confirmed what I had suspected,INVALID tracking number. DHL sent me an email documenting that.
I forwarded that email to 3avape. For the subsequent 3 or 4 emails 3avape continued to deny that the tracking number was invalid and kept telling me that the number was good!!
I “Let go” of the situation for 4 or 5 days when I got a brilliant idea yesterday. I emailed 3avape and suggested they plug the tracking number in DHL’s website. copy/paste results and send them to me. This will prove who is right. This morning I get an email from 3avape telling the package is LOST!! They gave me Two options,ship it again or credit my account.Boy,that was the most difficult decision in my life!
Things happen. I understand that. What bothered me the most is that they continued to insist that the tracking number was right when I emailed them proof from DHL. This resulted in wasting 15 days!
It is ok,final lesson learned is stick w/ Liionwholesale[1.50 miles from my house], Illumns, Orbtronics and IMR on occasion.
The ONLY reason I am posting this is to share my experience with 3avape.
I am not new at this. I was just looking for a battery unattainable from my regular dealers. They refunded me after I requested them to.They are disorganized and inefficient,I would not call them a scam, nor would I ever order from them again!!
As I mentioned in my post #6 it is a RARITY that I buy other than Liionwholesale[My hometown dealer], IMR, Orbtronics and Illumns.
The battery I wanted is not SOLD by the aforementioned dealers.
