Out of all the watches I have, I find myself wearing this Hamilton mechanical the most. I love that I have to wind it every day, and its simple design. Oh yeah, sorry about the fingerprint on the sapphire crystal. I didn’t notice it when I took the picture.
The other 2 watches in the vid are the same according to him. The Diggro is the least expensive of the 2 other brands. I like the plain bezel as a clean slate to put faces on. I just wish there wasn’t that gap between the face and the bezel. It makes the faces seem smaller than they are. That’s why I got it in black to help hide the gap.
How large is the bezel, not including the buttons? I’m seeing 1.6” listed in various places, but I’m not sure if this is the diameter of just the glass or the whole bezel.
My daily driver Citizen. She’s been badly beaten in the Machine shop and the garage for about 14 years now and still going strong. That said I should probably get some new pins for the bracelet…
I probably could’ve gotten it for less if I made an offer. It’s still one of the best $50 I’ve spent on electronics. I mean not having to maintain and store all those watches if I had them for real) It’s about 1.6” for the glass itself, but it’s 1.85” (47mm) for the whole bezel. It’s one of the smallest that you can put custom faces on. I usually don’t go bigger than 45mm on any watch, but for a smartwatch you pretty much have to because the buttons on the display are so tiny I had to buy a finer tip stylus for it.
Received this watch yesterday. It had a very nice steel bracelet but I had no tools to shorten it at the moment, so I put this Zulu Diver strap on. Really like it.
The watch is a Phoibos Wavemaster. Its a great watch for the price. SII NH35A movement, ceramic bezel, sapphire glass etc.
Just google phoibos and you find their site.
Good stuff, thanks! And if I'm remembering correctly, the NH35 and NH36 mvts are the non-branded versions of two well-respected Seiko mvts (of which the exact models numbers escape me at the moment... :)
Ya, I left the cheesy ones in for a bit of fun when I get bored. Some of those are like animated gifs. They show the versatility of the display. The battery life is short on these. This is one of the least efficient. Usually only a couple of days depending on the functions that are used. The longest display time is 30 mins. If it could be left on continuously maybe 4hrs.
