26350 Batteries

Oh man. My mistake. Thought I was replying about the Shockli 26650’s Richard also just got in stock. Haven’t tried my 26350’s in the DQG 26650, so please disregard what I said previously…

need more info !!!

About what?

Life, the Universe and Everything.

Will these 26650 from Alibaba run a stock L6 with the short tube?

https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/26350-lithium-ion-battery-Rechargeable-li_60701346014.html?spm=a2700.7724857.main07.15.73237e2eILgCQC

Yes. They’ll be the same types I use.

Thanks Petr J, thought it should work but wasn't sure.

Those purple 18350's show continuous discharge current at 1.0C and they are 2000mAh batteries, so would they still be safe enough to run a stock L6 on turbo? Looked at the website and couldn't find any info on normal and max charge rates either.

Are you talking about 18350 or 26350?

Sorry, posted late last night, it's the 26350!

Okay, they should be fine for a stock L6. I assume you have a short tube from an L2?

I use these 26350 in my mini L6 which uses a FET driver and the older xhp70. It pulls over 7A at the tail cap. The stock L6 driver, which I’m not using anymore, will probably draw 4, maybe 5A.

I only charge them at 1A (0.5C)

Yes, I have a short tube coming from Simon any day now. Thanks, I was hoping I didn't screw up buying those batteries. Finally today the seller on Alibaba sent me some info about it below.

Cool, I’ve never seen data for these batteries ever.

Thought I'd never get any good data and then it arrived in the morning from them.

Got my short tube for the L6 and the 26350 batteries both this morning. I really like the short look.

Maybe a dumb question, but can the SkyRC MC3000 charge these 26350 batteries? I'ts not listed in their product sheet, but it should work shouldn't it? I just got an email from someone at SkyRC and they said it can't charge them, but often I have found that people who reply from manufacturers sometimes know nothing about their product except from what was last printed.

Are you asking if it will physically fit?

No, just want to know if it would charge them? I'm not at home today but you have a point, I never looked to see if the slide rails would even fit those batteries or if there is too much of a gap.

Yes. I charge mine using the SKYRC MC3000.

Looking at the specs, it can fit 18350 (35mm in length) as well as 26650 (26mm in diameter). Just put those two together and you have 26350.

Then just set your charge rate. The standard charge rate (for maximum life) is .4A or 400mA. I’ve always done them at 1A, which seems fine. The maximum charge rate is 2A. So I’m kind of in the middle.
