Grease canāt evaporate immediately. Based on the accounts of a buyer here, if there is still some liquid flux on the mcpcb it has to be heated up for several minutes to get hot enough to start smoking. When that happens it settles on the reflector right away.
Are you maybe seeing something other than smoke? Maybe water vapor or something?
Where do you live? Are there any mechanic shops around that will let you use their vise? None of your friends have a vice?
Do you have a set of rubber strap wrenches? Have you tried one around the upper head and one around the lower head?
Just my .02ā¦. but these guys need some serious attention & relief.
It has been way to longā¦ they need it now.
Just restating the obviousā¦ā¦. :+1:
Just to be clear about what I said above. I am not blaming anyone on the team. Lumintop knows & has been well informed about these problems. Lumintop needs to get with the program & get these matters resolvedā¦. post haste. No excusesā¦.
Last email from Leo I had in April. He wrote, that I can send GT head for repairs or fix by myself. I responded, that I just need replacement parts and never heard him again.
Not responding multiple emails from different accounts.
I wrote PM here to Lumintop user, they replied, that they forwarded it ti Leo and he will respond with a bit of delay. It waj July 21.
Now even Lumintop PM is ignoring me.
Sorry, but it is not what I expected from them.
Mike
I keep asking for updates on the status of these issues but they are not responding thus far. Although that is not too unusual seeing as it can be a week or 2 for a response about normal items in some cases.
